Marvel’s biggest film to date is finally arriving this holiday season, and fans are already counting the days.
The trailers have dropped, with more promos expected in the coming weeks, and brands are now leaning into the Avengers craze before December 18 strikes. That’s the U.S. release date for Avengers: Doomsday, in case you haven’t heard.
Funko just unveiled a whole new lineup of Pop! figures to honor those characters who are joining the MCU for the first time. We’ve seen the clips thus far confirming that the core stars of the 2025 films Fantastic Four: First Steps and Thunderbolts* play their parts in the Avengers: Endgame follow-up.
Also making their debuts are big names from 20th Century Fox’s original X-Men trilogy, dating back to the year 2000:
- Patrick Stewart (Professor X)
- Ian McKellen (Magneto)
- James Marsden (Cyclops)
- Kelsey Grammer (Beast)
- Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler)
Forbes reported on Monday, October 5 that these five beloved superheroes are now among the new Funko Pop! figures in the overall Avengers lineup. Standing between 3.8 inches and 4.8 inches in height, the X-Men Pop! figures will retail for $14.99 apiece.
They’re available to order online right now at the Funko retail site and at major retailers.
The unveiling of Funko’s Pop! figures comes a day after Endgame reclaimed the all-time global box office record from James Cameron‘s 2009 blockbuster Avatar, per Forbes. Marvel fans have been getting a sneak peek at the upcoming MCU chapter with the Russo brothers’ Avengers: Endgame Encore, currently playing in theaters.
Doomsday features the return of Robert Downey Jr. to the MCU — but as Doctor Doom. This came a surprise to fans after his character, Tony Stark/Iron Man, died at the end of Endgame.
