The mess is messing on the premiere episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac. Karen is back, but this time she is busy with her prayers and private time. Stacey drops a bombshell on Tia about her husband and Ashley gets called out for loving the drama. But when Gizelle admits to sitting on important information, Tia questions their friendship and wonders why she did not bring it to her attention sooner…
Karen has made it through that dark time and now that she is home, she is sober and ready to straighten her crown. Karen explains that her husband, Ray, is angry because he “has a new wife,” but right now she is more focused on herself.
Gizelle is out with Ashley and they are excited to meet up with Karen 2.0. Gizelle has been there for Karen and Karen really appreciates their friendship. Karen shares that she is acclimating well and claims that she is not a big drinker-clearly not admitting she has a problem.
Ashley explains that she is dating someone, aka Josh, a face we have seen from the past. Karen lets the ladies know that she has grown apart from her husband and she gets incredibly defensive when they begin to question her marriage.
Tia will be well-liked by Karen, according to Gizelle. Ashley shares that Tia’s husband is not who everyone thinks he is and Wendy has not responded to anyone, though her trial is looming.
Later, Stacey meets up with Wendy, who has since gotten an expensive new ride to brighten her spirits. Wendy is still trying to process all of the allegations and arrests, but she states that she still needs to be convicted. Luckily, Stacey and Tia have shown up for her, despite all the issues.
Stacey is grateful for her ex-husband Thiemo and shares they are now getting back together. It’s almost like the divorce never happened. Wendy says that she invited Tia to join them, and Stacey is not thrilled, considering their past issues. Wendy acts as the mediator and points out that Stacey should not have kicked Tia out and Tia should not have told Stacey that she married up. After apologies, the ladies decide to move on and support Wendy instead of beefing.
Wendy does not appreciate Ashley’s remarks and Tia shares that Ashley was “salivating” over comments about her husband. Stacey knows what Ashley is talking about and makes an advance apology about what she is to say about Tia’s husband.
Stacey lets Tia know she has been receiving messages about her husband- messages that seem to prove that Tia’s husband has been on dating sites, pictures and all. Stacey admits that he is presenting himself as single and if there are pictures involved, it must be true. Tia handles this surprisingly well and Stacey is happy that she is hearing this for the first time with her true friends.
Two days later, Tia is ready to get all of her questions out about her husband. She invites the ladies to a Wizards basketball game, since the coach’s wife, Courtney, is a client and has since become her friend. Tia is displeased with the way Ashley was salivating at the mouth about her marriage and it is clear that they’ve got some things to discuss.
In the past, Wendy was doing all the things and now everything is gone at the height of her career. Wendy’s legal team is trying to get everything in order and she explains that she has a different legal team from her husband, Eddie. Their marriage has been difficult throughout these trying times, considering how much he has hurt her although she doesn’t specify in what way Eddie has hurt her. Are they setting Eddie up to take the fall???
A Reality Blurb article is then featured which shows an email Eddie allegedly sent Wendy asking if there were “additional high-value items” they could add to the list of stolen items “to get the total to exceed $423,000” which was their policy maximum.
Four days later, we meet Courtney, the wife of the Wizards basketball coach. She is happy in love with her husband and two sons and she is thrilled to be having the ladies join her for a game. Courtney actually knows Ashley, which is interesting considering Tia is avoiding her, much like she is avoiding her husband.
We learn that Courtney is an event planner and also a minister-the turn we did not see coming. Wendy remains as cool as a cucumber towards Karen, who evidently used Wendy’s lowest moments to kick her while she is down.
Robyn enters and gives the girls a jump scare. Robyn has opened her business and is still getting under people’s skin.
Ashley is continuing along with “her impish behavior,” blowing up people’s families and just dancing away. Ashley’s boo rolls up and he makes his rounds with the ladies. It turns out that he works at the stadium and after making his entrance, he exits as quickly as he comes in.

Post game, the ladies hit up a bar and Wendy confronts Ashley about what she said regarding Tia. Tia points out that Ashley took glee about her misfortune. Ashley states that she was “bothered” by what she saw and Gizelle jumps in to say someone sent her information about Tia’s husband. It was a verified account, but Tia wonders why Gizelle did not bring it to her attention asap. Why would Gizelle show Ashley before showing Tia? Where is Gizelle’s moral compass?
Gizelle claims she wanted to find out if it were true and Tia is shocked by Gizelle’s behavior. While all the action is going on, Karen is “sun-downing” and almost snoring. Ashley states that she DID feel bad for Tia, but wishes she could have done things differently. Ashley is tired of men embarrassing women and Gizelle wonders if it is actually true. (side note: Gizelle thinks that Stacey held this information in her back pocket until the cameras came up for tea).
Robyn promises not to talk about Tia’s marital situation, BUT she WILL talk about Wendy’s legal issues. Wendy wonders why this is okay and Gizelle points out that Wendy is trying to act like she is innocent and she is not. Ooph.
Karen is lost by all the back and forth, considering they are accomplishing nothing. Karen apologizes for the Robert nickname and the night concludes.
As the ladies head out, Stacey, Wendy, and Tia hang back. Tia drops a bombshell: she DID confront her husband about the dating apps. And he did not deny it…Where do they go from here?
