Cassie Ventura is out of the spotlight and enjoying peace with her husband, Alex Fine, and their three children. Now, Fine is opening up about their family life.

Fine, who reprises his role as Donnie in the second season of the crime series Mobland, spoke to Capital Xtra about his and Cassie’s new life outside the States and how she feels about his busy acting career.
“She’s super supportive,” he said. “She understood that this is a very special project. Also we became fans watching the first season.”
Though he doesn’t say where their family now lives, he mentioned that shooting in London was easier for him because it’s a central travel hub.
The pair share daughters Frankie, 5, and Sunny, 3, who Fine says are not super impressed by their dad’s job.
“I bring them to every set to see what I’m doing,” Fine shared. “They don’t think it’s really cool yet…they will soon. They got to meet everyone from Tom Hardy to Billy Bob Thornton to Tom Hardy to Helen Mirren and all of them. And they’re like, ‘Well, can you do the Bluey movie?’ Like, they don’t think this is cool.”
But there is one part of the job their girls do really love: the hair and makeup trailers.
“My two daughters, they love the makeup trailer and looking at the hair and makeup and scars you put on,” he shared. “I’ll bring them in and then I found out when I was picking them up from school one time, one of the dads was like, ‘What do you do for work?’ I was like, ‘I’m acting on this show.’ And he was like, ‘Oh all right … my daughter said that Sunny told her that her dad puts on makeup every day for work … and I was curious what you do.’”
And though Cassie has had her fair share of time onscreen—starring in The Perfect Match, Honey 3 and Step Up 2—Fine says it’s unlikely that the two will work together as actors.
“I would say no, just in the fact that one of us needs to be with the kids,” he explained. “But if we did, I feel like Bonnie and Clyde would be sick.”
We’re happy to know our girl Cassie is doing just fine!
