According to a new report, the Duke of Sussex has been waiting for his father to make the first move, but the lack of an invitation has left him questioning the state of their relationship. Now, Harry is reportedly considering a more direct approach to get the monarch’s attention.

Prince Harry is reportedly prepared to make repeated attempts to reach his father rather than continue waiting for an invitation. According to the National Examiner, the Duke of Sussex is ready to use every contact available to him to secure a face-to-face meeting with the King.
“Harry is ready to call every number he has to until he reaches his father to demand some face time,” an unnamed source told the publication. “He’s taken the high road so far and waited for his father to extend an invitation, but nothing has come, and Harry can’t wait forever.”
The insider also claimed that Harry is struggling to understand the apparent change in his father’s approach. “It’s incredibly hurtful to be shuffled off like this,” the source added. “He’s trying to figure out why the king has suddenly done such a 180. And his worry is that it’s got something to do with Charles Spencer and his book.”
The source’s comments suggest that Harry is concerned about whether Charles Spencer’s book, “Swan Song: Diana, My Sister,” has played a role in the reported tension. However, the report does not establish a connection between the book and the alleged communication gap between father and son.
Harry has previously expressed hopes of rebuilding his relationship with his father. In an earlier report, the Duke reportedly wanted more from Charles after their reunion. An insider suggested he hoped that the reigning monarch would attend the 2027 Invictus Games set to take place in Birmingham.
