Dakota Johnson’s outfits are the definition of cool-girl chic, and her latest casual combo is no exception. The actress recently took a page from Taylor Swift’s book by rocking a pair of brown pants, one of fall’s biggest trends and a must-have on our wish lists.
Spotted strolling through Beverly Hills, Johnson showed off a laid-back but stylish look: brown jeans with an oversized graphic tee, black flats and an elegant Valentino handbag. She isn’t the only star to embrace the trend. Swift recently wore a similar pair of brown pants in New York while on a date with her husband, Travis Kelce. After seeing not one, but two style icons wear the eye-catching alternative, we knew we had to find a pair of brown jeans for ourselves. So we did — and the best part is, our favorite pick costs less than $35 on Amazon.

The Dokotoo Wide Leg Jeans come in a light brown color that feels just right for autumn vibes. Like Johnson’s, they have a relaxed, wide-leg fit that helps elongate your legs and creates a figure-flattering silhouette.
Even better, these brown jeans are extra comfy and easy to wear all day long. They’re made of a stretchy cotton-blend fabric that feels soft and broken-in from the first wear, and the elastic waistband offers an adjustable fit that won’t dig into your skin all day.
Shoppers are most impressed by the fit of these jeans. “The wide-leg style is flattering and definitely wide without going into super exaggerated, almost gothic-wide territory,” one reviewer wrote. “They are still very wearable and fashionable.”
Another shopper raved about their versatility, saying the “classic straight-leg cut” lets you “dress them up or down.” They added, “They drape beautifully and pair perfectly with everything from casual sandals and flats to dressy heels or structured fall boots.”
These brown pants might be a big fall trend, but they’re also stylish enough to stand the test of time. And for under $35, you don’t want to pass up this pair. Add them to your cart while you can.

Dakota Johnson has quietly perfected the kind of ‘French girl’ fall style that never seems to go out of fashion. Rather than reaching for trendy denim silhouettes, the actress keeps things classic with straight-leg jeans that look just as chic in 2026, styled with ballet flats and a cardigan, as they will five years from […]
