Loved ones continue to mourn the loss of the Ghanaian teen. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to help his mother travel to the United States to say her final goodbyes in person. The Late Lesandro ‘Junior’ Guzman-Feliz’s Mother Speaks Out At Javits Frimpong’s Vigil

For Leandra Feliz, the loss of another 15-year-old boy brought back the unimaginable pain of losing her own son. Lesandro ‘Junior’ Guzman-Feliz, was murdered in 2018. She attended a vigil for Javits Frimpong to show solidarity with his grieving family. Visibly moved by the tragedy, Feliz said the loss reminded her of what she endured following Junior’s death, explaining that her presence was simply to let the family know they were not alone.

“It reminds me of what I went through with my child. Beyond offering support to the family, Feliz also shared words of spiritual comfort with Javits’ uncle.
