While some games might have a darker tone and spooky moments, like Majora’s Mask, they generally lack gore, swear words, or adult content. This means most Legend of Zelda games are fine for all ages, except for maybe younger children who might get scared by the Moon descending on Termina.

The Nintendo eShop page for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake now has the game’s official ESRB rating, suggesting that it’s near completion, as titles are only rated when they’re content/feature complete. The game has been rated E 10+ for fantasy violence and animated blood, which is what most fans expected for the game.
The age rating for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is missing something from its predecessor, the remake of the original game on the Nintendo 3DS. The previous version of the game had “Suggestive Themes” listed as one of the elements that people might find objectionable. The fact that it’s missing from the new remake suggests that content has been cut or altered.

So, what exactly did the Nintendo 3DS version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time consider to be suggestive? The debut trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake has confirmed that Link’s character design has been tweaked, so the rest of Hyrule has likely undergone a similar treatment. There’s a good chance, based on the ESRB rating, that any revealing outfits from the N64 era have been lengthened, possibly as a result of the characters looking more realistic and not being blocky 3D models anymore.
