Netflix has released the first trailer of Lego One Piece, giving fans a new look at the upcoming two-part special. The Lego special will premiere on the streaming service on September 29, 2026, and will revisit the adventures of the Straw Hat Pirates from the live-action series in Lego form. Alongside the trailer, Netflix has also released a new poster for The One Piece, the highly anticipated anime remake from WIT Studio, which is set to premiere in February 2027.
The newly released Lego One Piece trailer shows the Straw Hat Pirates as Lego characters, with Usopp narrating the story. Instead of simply retelling the events, Usopp adds his own exaggerated version of the crew’s adventures. The special follows the Straw Hats’ journey through the East Blue and into the Grand Line, before Tony Tony Chopper joins the crew.
The live-action cast also returns to voice their Lego characters. Iñaki Godoy, Emily Rudd, Mackenyu, Jacob Romero Gibson, and Taz Skylar voice Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Usopp, and Sanji, respectively. Mikaela Hoover also voices Tony Tony Chopper. The special also features Jeff Ward as Buggy, along with Katey Sagal and Callum Kerr.
Meanwhile, The One Piece is preparing to bring a new adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s best-selling manga to the screen. The remake will provide a new take on Luffy’s iconic adventures. Netflix has also released a new poster for the remake with the headline “New Dawn, New Adventure,” giving fans a look at its updated character designs.

Is One Piece also getting a live-action Season 3 at Netflix?
Yes. Netflix officially announced that One Piece Season 3 will release on November 25, 2025. It recently wrapped production and is expected to arrive in 2027. The upcoming season is titled One Piece The Battle of Alabasta and will bring the popular Alabasta arc to life, where the Straw Hats help Vivi save her homeland from a civil war.
Season 3 will bring several major characters into the live-action adaptation, including Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace and Cole Escola as Bon Clay. Joe Manganiello is also set to appear as Mr. 0, while Lera Abova will play Miss All Sunday.
With the Lego special coming in September, The One Piece in 2027, and the live-action series returning for Season 3, Netflix is expanding its One Piece lineup with several new projects.
