After three years, an era is officially ending for Stranger Things. The stage prequel Stranger Things: The First Shadow has announced the end of its runs on London’s West End and Broadway. Stranger Things: The First Shadow will have its final performance at London’s Phoenix Theatre on Dec. 27, 2026, and at Broadway’s Marquis Theatre on Jan. 3, 2027.
Stranger Things: The First Shadow is closing three years after its debut and one year after the end of Stranger Things. The Stranger Things finale, which had surprisingly strong ties to The First Shadow‘s story, boosted the play’s box office for a time, but it has yet to make back the $20 million it cost to bring the show to Broadway.
