Alix Earle is opening up about the unusual way her father helped pay for her breast augmentation. The TikTok star underwent surgery in 2022. Her family recently shared more details about the decision. Her father, Thomas “TJ” Earle, even turned his contribution into a memorable Christmas gift.
Alix Earle’s dad reveals he helped pay for her breast augmentation as a Christmas gift
In Season 1 of Netflix’s Earle Meets World, it was revealed that Alix asked her father to help fund the procedure. Her sister Ashtin recalled Alix calling the surgery “an investment in my future.” She also said, “She blew up after she got those boobs.” TJ agreed and explained how he paid for half of the procedure.
TJ shared the story during a confessional on Earle Meets World. “For Christmas, which I’m sure sounds a little weird, but in a box, I put two oranges,” he said. He explained that he wrote on one, “You pay for this boob,” and on the other, “I’ll pay for this boob.” TJ then added, “and then I paid for a boob,” before joking about his sense of humor.
Alix shared more details about her surgery in a 2023 TikTok video. She chose 275cc moderate profile implants and placed them under the muscle for a “more natural” look. “This is not me convincing anyone to get a boob job,” she said. Alix added, “if there is something you want to do for yourself, then do it,” and told fans not to worry about other people’s opinions.
Alix added that her parents were not on board with the concept initially. She recalled talking to them about surgery and hearing, “Alix, shut up.” She said she planned to save her own money because “there’s nothing you can really do about that.”
Alix later said her surgeon was “on the pricier side,” but she wanted to spend more because she felt her body deserved better care, while she had previously said her savings from work and childhood helped pay for the surgery.
