Rinna spoke with E! News reporter Keltie Knight while walking the blue carpet at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards. She opened up about her SEKS gown and the blonde wig she wore for the event. Rinna then revealed what Hamlin wanted her to do with the wig after she got home. “Harry asked me to keep the wig on when I get home,” she said.
Rinna quickly made the comment even more playful. “I swear he did,” she added, referring to her husband’s request. She also joked about how her different hairstyles give Hamlin a changing view of her. “He gets a lot of different women coming through,” Rinna said.
The couple is also having another fashion moment at home. Rinna said Hamlin has entered what she called his “supermodel era.” She said, “Harry Hamlin has now become a supermodel,” adding that she’s started getting him modeling work. “I’ve got him working because why not?” she added.
Rinna also had another reason for attending the VMAs that night. She made it clear that Madonna remained her main focus at the event. Rinna called herself a “huge devotee of the queen” and remembered Madonna’s 1984 “Like a Virgin” performance. Madonna returned to the VMAs this year for her first performance at the show in 23 years.
