The Young and the Restless spoilers excite with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)’s wedding with a huge twist coming. Plus, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case)’s got a stalker in her house that is going to freak her out. We have got the latest The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of October 12th.
And we have also got big action next week for Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen), who shocks Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Also, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is struggling with her cancer test results. We’ve got some big news for Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) when she is back.
The Young and the Restless: Lily Winters’ Health Crisis
But first, let’s talk about Lily. At the end of this week, she’s talking to Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) outside of Society during Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)’s bachelorette party. Lily has been nervously awaiting her cancer test results. But was frustrated and told Traci they came back inconclusive. Lily hates being in limbo. She just wants an answer. But Traci reassured Lily that she’s stronger than she’s ever been. However, Traci also advised Lily that it is high time that she tells Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) what is going on with her health.
After Lily and Traci found out Sally had gone to the hospital with some kind of labor pains, Lily also left the party, and then she called Cane to meet her up at the Chancellor Park cafe. And when he gets to the cafe on the last episode of The Young and the Restless this week, Lily kisses Cane and says she wants to focus on them and that what happened tonight made Lily realize that anything can happen in an instant. So Cane can tell that Lily is still hiding something from him. And Cane is begging Lily to tell him what is going on. But she still keeps Cane in the dark.
Y&R Spoilers: Nate Supports Lily
And next week’s The Young and the Restless spoilers have Lily telling Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that cancer was supposed to be something that was in her past. And Lily is asking Nate, “Why am I dealing with it again?” And then Lily asks Nate, “What did I do wrong?” So, we should see Lily telling Cane very soon about her health issues.
Also, at the end of this week, as I mentioned, Sally started having contractions during her bachelorette party, and she thought that she was in labor. So, Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell) took her sister Sally to the hospital, and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) called Billy to let him know Sally was headed over to the hospital. Abby told Billy, “Meet Sally there because she might be in labor.” And Billy was so eager to rush to Sally in case the baby was coming, he didn’t stop to think.
Billy was about to hop in his car and just take off. But Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) stopped Billy and said, “Remember, you’ve been drinking all day. You’re drunk.” Billy got wasted at his bachelor party/roast. So Jack called Billy a car service, and then he stumbled into the hospital worried about the baby coming.
Young and Restless: Jason Thompson Hints Major Drama
Thankfully, it turned out Sally was just having Braxton Hicks contractions. You know, fake labor pains. Billy was relieved that the baby wasn’t coming yet and that everything was okay. But Sally wanted to hurry up and get out of there. She told Billy she wants to leave now. Being at the hospital reminded Sally of how scared she was because of what happened at the end of her last pregnancy, when her baby girl Ava died.
So, Billy was urging Sally to focus on the good things happening, and they are both really excited for the wedding next week. And speaking of their nuptials, Jason Thompson did a really interesting interview recently. He said that there are going to be some twists and turns at Sally and Billy’s wedding, and that their big day is about much more than just them getting a happily ever after. Jason Thompson said that things happen at Sally’s wedding to Billy that change the trajectory of the story and will have a ripple effect.
Young and the Restless: Billy & Sally’s Baby Crashes Their Wedding?
Jason Thompson said that the fallout from what happens at Billy and Sally’s wedding could last ten to twenty years. And to me, that sounds like a prison sentence. Ten to twenty, right? And with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) on the loose, I cannot imagine she’s leaving Genoa City quietly.
Also, the actor said that Sally and Billy have a newborn very, very quickly after saying, “I do.” The promise of twists at the wedding, plus Sally’s false labor, has me wondering if the officiant says, “I now pronounce you man and wife,” and then her water breaks. We may see Billy become a new husband and a new dad on the exact same day.
Jill Abbott’s Wedding Shock on Y&R
Jason Thompson also said something happens at the wedding with Jill that is pretty serious. The Billy Abbott actor said that what happens with Jill throws everything into a blender, which is kind of interesting. So, I’m wondering if Billy’s mom’s health takes a turn for the worse during Billy and Sally’s wedding. We’re still waiting on air dates to find out Jess Walton’s exact return arc. They’ve been teasing Jill’s health decline for a while, so this may well be quite tragic, what happens on Billy and Sally’s big day.
The Young and the Restless: Matt Clark’s Dangerous Return
And speaking of tragedies, we’ve got cops and robbers ahead this week on The Young and the Restless. So, at the end of this week on The Young and the Restless, we saw Matt Clark (Roger Howarth)’s good and evil sides wrestling with each other after Patty crashed the car that he was driving and left Matt there bleeding and injured.
It’s hard to say which side won, dark or light, because he went looking for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Matt showed up at the GCAC. But he kind of hid behind the stairs and was watching and eavesdropping on Phyllis with Nick and Sharon.
And then next week, Detective Burrow meets with Nick and Adam, and they think Burrow is there because of drug dealer Joe, because that’s a whole big question mark. Adam is very worried about exactly what Nick is hiding and whether his big brother might have beaten Joe to death.
Y&R Spoilers: Burrow Shocks Nick & Adam
But Burrow tells Adam and Nick that he’s there about a car accident that happened one hundred miles south of Genoa City. And Burrow says there was a crashed car, and it was found empty. But the fingerprints inside match Matt Clark’s. Now, as of this moment, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had all the charges against Matt dropped. So, he’s not a wanted man. But that would be an interesting circumstance.
I do wonder if they are going to find Patty’s prints because she was in the car, too. Then again, she might have wiped down the steering wheel that she yanked and wiped down the door handle, so there was no sign. She’s pretty smart. Matt was trying to convince Patty to turn herself in. But she raged and told Matt she would never be locked away again and crashed them.
The Young and the Restless: Matt Invades Sharon’s Home
So, when the cops found the car, there was no sign of Patty or Matt. But we know he’s back in Genoa City. And the question is whether Patty’s actions knocked Matt back into being a villain, because things look bad in next week’s The Young and the Restless spoilers. At Sharon’s recently redecorated house, Matt is sneaking around inside, and him invading Sharon’s home cannot be a good sign, because I don’t think the good version of Matt would sneak into Sharon’s house and bother her.
So, this could very well be dark Matt back to torment Sharon. If she comes home from the wedding and finds Matt in her house, I think Sharon will lose it. I guess we’ll find out for sure next week whether Matt is truly redeemed or was just waiting to flip a switch and go dark again. The Young and the Restless is full of huge action and wedding drama next week.
