Hey, The Young and the Restless fans. We’ve got your early weekly spoilers for the week of October 12th with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) tempted and on the verge of relapse. Plus, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) may soon get the worst possible news.
Also coming up the week of October 12th through the 16th, we’ve got big drama at Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)’s baby shower. Two villains are on the loose and there is trouble brewing. And as we always do on early edition day, we go over what is happening the rest of this week, then we get into what is coming next week. So let’s dive into all the juicy drama.
Young and Restless Spoilers: Adam & Billy Spar
Wednesday, October 7th on The Young and the Restless. Michael Baldwin (Christian Leblanc) is telling Sally and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) how excited he is about the bachelor party and Sally asked Michael to keep Billy in line. Esther complains about Gloria Abbott. And then Sally winds up inviting Esther to her bachelorette party. And Michael says, “When you marry somebody, you marry their family also.” Those are true words.
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) show up to talk with Sally about the shower. Several people have cancelled because of a stomach bug. Billy runs into Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), who reminds Billy that he is going to be at the wedding. Billy thinks that he should tell Chelsea no, but Adam won’t, and Billy thinks Adam’s only coming to annoy him.
Y&R Spoilers: Diane & Nikki Go at It
The ladies hear them and Audra goes and threatens the two guys about not ruining Sally’s wedding. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is getting ready for Billy’s bachelor party and tells Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) there are no strippers. But when Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) shows up, Diane makes a crack about Nikki being a stripper. Jack’s a little irritated and walks out.
And then Diane and Nikki are making mutual threats about Vibrante and Jack crushing each other. Jack returns and Nikki tells him about Nick doing something to his old drug dealer, Joe. And she mentions that Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) relapsed and overdosed is back in Nick’s life. And Nikki really wants Jack to help Nick. But Jack says the ball is in Nick’s court. Diane tells Michael she is going to destroy Nikki and Michael tries to discourage that.
And then Diane suddenly gets a stomach cramp and realizes, “Oh no, she’s got the bug, too, and can’t go to Sally’s party.” Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) calls Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) about Nick and asks Phyllis to come see her, but then Nick shows up right before Phyllis arrives and Nick feels ambushed, even though Sharon says she invited Phyllis before she even knew Nick was going to come over. They ask about his bruised knuckles and Nick lies and said it happened boxing.
Young and Restless Spoilers: Phyllis & Sharon Clash Over Nick
Phyllis wants to know if Nick is using again and Sharon brings up Marie’s overdose and Phyllis tells Nick he should not be around Marie and Phyllis thinks Marie is using Nick but he says she’s unconscious hooked up to machines so she can’t be. Phyllis offers to help Nick get clean like she did for Jack years ago. And Nick asks Phyllis about Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and Phyllis says that he left town. So bottom line, Nick doesn’t want to hear Phyllis telling him to stay away from Marie.
And Sharon confronts Nick and says she knows that he went after Joe, that that’s not a boxing injury. Nick says he got the police involved. And Phyllis asks if Joe’s in jail, but Nick says no, the guy got away. Phyllis tells Nick, “Focus on yourself. Let Marie get help from the medical professionals. Nick doesn’t know how to do that and Sharon suggests that Nick needs to go back to rehab. Phyllis thinks it’s a bad idea because Nick will meet more people like Marie. Phyllis tells Nick, “Stop playing hero.” Sharon and Phyllis are arguing about Nick in rehab. He tries to leave, but then Phyllis drags them both over to the GCAC with her.
Y&R Spoilers: Matt’s Dark Side Emerges
Meanwhile, Matt is back at the motel all banged up, telling himself he has to let everybody know Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) escaped. But then, Bad Matt says, “Don’t warn anybody about Patty Williams.” And Good Matt says he wants to be the man Phyllis thinks he is.
And then, Bad Matt is chiming back in, telling him to go on the run and just be the guy he always was. So he lies in bed crying, just busted up, looking bad. Meanwhile, Phyllis tells Nick and Sharon that she owns the GCAC now. And then Matt shows up there and he hides behind the staircase and is watching and listening.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sally’s Party Kicks Off
Thursday, October 8th on The Young and the Restless. Sally’s bachelorette party kicks off at Society even though a lot of her guests got sick and had to cancel. Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) greets Sally and they all toast the bride to be. We’ve got Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Lily and Chelsea and Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell) making her Y&R debut. We also have Audra, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) all there on hand. But things take a turn because Sally’s holding her baby bump and doesn’t look happy.
And we know somebody unexpected crashes Sally’s bachelorette party. Could be Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). Maybe Sally’s grandma Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo). The biggest crasher would be if Sally goes into labor and the baby shows up.
Billy’s put on the spot by somebody might be at his bachelor party. The guys all get together at the Abbott mansion. We’ve got Michael there with Jack and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). But then Billy and Cane have this really awkward moment that’s kind of strange.
Young and Restless Spoilers: Cane Begs Lily for the Truth
Friday, October 9th on The Young and the Restless. Cane is pressing Lily to please open up to him. She told Cane there’s something going on, but Lily said it doesn’t concern him personally. But Cane’s worried and of course he’s going to be crushed to hear that Lily’s cancer might be back, but she’s going to have to tell him at some point. Chelsea and Audra set their dislike aside.
It is for Sally’s benefit, but I know Chelsea would be happy to make peace with Audra permanently. Sally and Billy’s relationship is put to the test by the end of the week. It could be about Jill because she is in town soon and Sally and Billy have differing opinions on how Billy should handle things with his mom, but it may just be wedding stress.
Y&R Spoilers: Nick Fights the Urge to Use
Then the week of October 12th through the 16th on The Young and the Restless, Nick has pills in his pocket and may not be able to resist. Plus, Marie is due to wake soon. We’ll see if Matt’s dark side gets the better of him. I’m sure Phyllis will be happy to see Matt, but fall spoilers also say that Phyllis has to decide if she wants Matt in her life going forward. We’ll also see Patty resurface.
I expect to see her back in town after almost killing Matt by crashing the car and making his dark side resurface. Honestly, it’s best that Patty just runs off while she can, but I doubt she can leave Genoa City without getting to see Jack one last time. Nikki and Diane’s rivalry continues to heat up and it goes from professional to very personal.
Lily’s going to get her cancer test results soon and it’s going to have to come clean with Cane one way or another, but this really could be bad news. Billy and Sally are getting hitched soon, but it’s going to be a bumpy ride. Plus, their baby is also here very soon. Lots of exciting stuff coming for them.
Young and Restless Casting Updates
Coco Spectra is on screen October 8th and Sally’s grandma, Shirley Spectra, arrives in Genoa City soon along with Billy’s mom, Jill Abbott. We are finally going to see Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) back very soon. She’ll have scenes with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), possibly also Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), because Mariah thinks Tessa and Daniel should remain friends, which is an interesting take. Kyle and Victoria take increasing risk with this forbidden affair of theirs.
But pretty soon they’re going to catch real feelings and it is explosive when they get caught. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) take their relationship public. Right now Lily and Devon Winters (Bryton James) already know Stephanie and Nate are seeing each other, but very soon all of Genoa City will know. Hopefully Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will be back soon and his reaction won’t be too terrible. When he does come back though, it might not be Nathan Owens in the role because there has been some recast chatter.
