Vicki Gunvalson‘s son, Michael Wolfsmith, revealed where he stood with former stepfather Donn Gunvalson on Thursday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
While Vicki revealed how boyfriend Michael Smith reacted to her divorce regrets, clarified her “shade” against Teresa Giudice, 54, and spoke of the future of Alexis Bellino, 49, and John Janssen, 63, Vicki denied that Tamra Judge, 59, was an “OG” of The Real Housewives of Orange County, addressed her friendships with her former co-stars, and slammed Meghan King, 42, and Braunwyn Windham-Burke, 48.
“I like [my mom’s boyfriend], Michael. He’s a good guy, and he’s got his sh*t going for him. Some of her other guys have kind of used her a little bit,” Michael W., 41, said on the October 29 episode of WWHL.
As for Donn? He continued, “Donn was always like a stepdad to me. I haven’t talked to him since the divorce, like 15 years or something. He was always like a stepdad figure. Not that it was bad, it was just like, she was pretty much taking the role of mom and dad, and he was just kind of the husband.”
After Vicki, 64, revealed that Ryan Culberson, 39, the husband of her daughter, Briana Culberson, 39, was “really close with [Donn],” she insisted that her boyfriend wasn’t upset about the comments she’d made about the end of their marriage.
“We’ve talked about it. He always says the same thing with him and Kristy. Like, people tend to get divorced in their 40s, and they really should just get through their 40s,” she reasoned.
Moving on to Teresa, whose cardboard cutout she said looked the most different amid Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, Vicki said, “I didn’t say she looked bad.”
“I said she was the most changed, which actually was a compliment because she looks so much better now,” she explained.
Regarding Alexis and John, and whether their marriage would last, Vicki suspected “they will be” together in five years.
Vicki was then asked if Tamra deserved to be considered an OG.
“She’s not,” she replied.
Looking back at former members of the RHOC cast, Vicki confirmed she was on good terms with Lynne Curtin, 70, Lydia McLaughlin, 45, Gretchen Rossi, 48, Peggy Tanous, 57, Quinn Fry, 71, Lizzie Rovsek, 46, and Tammy Knickerbocker, 63, before saying she didn’t “like Meghan at all.”
“She lied. I don’t like liars. I like authenticity and somebody that doesn’t lie,” Vicki explained.
She then targeted Braunwyn, suggesting she abandoned her children for wife Jennifer Spinner, 40.
“You don’t have seven children and then leave them for a woman. I guess you do if you’re Braunwyn. She literally left them, so I hear,” Vicki alleged.
Also on the live broadcast, after admitting she’d rather be stuck in an elevator with Teddi Mellencamp, 45, than Carmella Garcia, 44, Vicki defended herself against Emily Simpson‘s “Debbie Downer” claims.
“I’m not a Debbie Downer because I’m the OG … because after two surgeries my knee is finally fixed … the worst pain I’ve ever been in for 11 months, so I’m over it. I’m not a Debbie Downer because on the girls’ trip I made six new friends … because my guests at my desert house were. They were rude to me. I’m not a Debbie Downer, but the girls were … [And] I can still whoop it up!” she declared.
During the WWHL after show, Vicki also suggested Heather Dubrow overreacted to Tamra taking a selfie with Jenn Pedranti in Tokyo after Heather questioned if Tamra was doing it to make her feel left out.
“The whole thing was ridiculous,” said Vicki. “I mean, if that’s what we’re gonna fight about, I guess I’m stupid because that doesn’t make sense. If you take a picture with me. You can take a picture with her. I don’t care. Don’t care.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 20 reunion begins next Thursday, November 5, at 8/7c on Bravo.
