While they might seem like unassuming pieces of decoration at first, Trinkets are some of the most useful items you can come across while playing Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. Offering unique gameplay effects, powerful buffs, and even increasing your money gain, there is no shortage of worthwhile Trinkets to collect in Black Flag Resynced
With a total of 23 to collect, split between in-game purchases, story missions, paid DLC, or being scattered throughout the game world, you can find every single Trinket offered in Black Flag Resynced and their effects to help plan out which ones you’ll want to focus on or grab first that fit your playstyle the most.
Where To Get Every Purchasable Trinket
Starting off with the trinkets you can buy solely with in-game currency, these are the easiest to find as you’ll come across all three of them right in the hometown of your hideout at Great Inagua, but require a bit of financial investment into your pirate empire before you can even see them sold. The first two Trinkets are the Lodestone and Shark Teeth, which you can only purchase after leveling up your General Store.
While it will cost you a total of 8,000 Reales to both construct and fully upgrade your General store, it will also grant you access to a wide variety of legendary weapons and allow you to purchase almost every animal hide in the game, making it well worth the effort even if you don’t end up buying either of the two trinkets right away.

The third Trinket you can buy from Great Iangua can only be bought after constructing the Great Inagua Treasure dealer, and while it isn’t too difficult to build, you’ll need to collect a horde of trade-in resources to purchase the Black Pearl, which you’ll have to grind for either through your fleet, exploring, or boarding enemy vessels with large amounts of cargo.
Where To Get Every Collectible Trinket
When it comes to Trinkets that have little to no other requirements other than going out and discovering them for yourself, you can find 10 in chests, buried treasure, or from local events throughout Black Flag Resynced‘s fully open world. While similar to regular side quests, Local Events differ in that they don’t place any markers on your map, but instead force you to rely on verbal cues from the NPCs and Edward upon discovering their final location.
The most notable Trinkets out of the bunch here are definitely the Exotic Sea Shells, Guardian Beast Trinket, and Wooden Eyeball, two of which are found right in the starting area of Havana itself.

The Exotic Sea Shells can be found fairly easily by searching for a chest in the center of town at (214, 568), which makes farming for huntable animals drastically easier by doubling the amount of pelts you get, and is always worth attaching whenever you’re out hunting or farming for upgrade materials.
While you’re in Havana, heading to the south end of the docks will find a few sailors discussing their sunken treasure ship. After heading to the location marked in the image above, swimming to the bottom will net you the Guardian Beast Trinket, which ensures you’re always topped up on health at the start of any encounter with its passive healing.
The last few are a bit trickier to get ahold of, as both the Wooden Eyeball and Hunter’s Amulet require you to have constructed the Treasure Dealer on Great Inagua, and then collect the map pieces required to find their buried location. In order to get the Preserved Map, you’ll need to revisit previously looted warehouses for a second time.
You can shorten the cooldown between Plantation Warehouse restocks by sending ships on related missions in Edward’s Fleet.
If you’re hoping to get the Hunter’s Amulet to make farming for pelts a little easier, you’ll instead need to kill several White Jaguars on Great Inagua at (825, 439), which have a chance of dropping a piece each time. There is a roughly two-hour cooldown once again for these kinds of animals, so you’ll have to revisit after a bit of a wait to get the rest of the pieces you need.
You won’t be able to get access to every Trinket right away, however, as the following 5 equipment items can only be found after accomplishing certain main story quests, and then progressing through several of Black Flag Resynced‘s side quests.
One of the easiest ones you can do after reaching Great Inagua is by completing the Templar Hunt for Opia Apito on Cayman Sound to get the Rabbit’s Foot that increases the chance of staggering parries, which also puts you one step closer to unlocking the Legendary Templar Armor set.

The Jackdaw Totem is also an exclusive new reward offered for completing the expanded post-game quest A World Without Gold, which offers a new storyline to follow after the events of the main game have concluded, meaning you likely won’t get it for some time unless you’re ready to rush through Black Flag Resynced‘s story.
Where To Get Every DLC Trinket
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get access to every one of Black Flag Resynced‘s trinkets unless you’re willing to spend some extra cash, as there are several rewards tied to exclusive versions of the game and additional microtransactions you can only get by spending real-world money in the in-game Animus Store or through your digital retailer.
While none of these abilities are absolutely game-changing or anything, some of them still have unique effects for players who want to get more out of the experience, with their abilities below tying into the theme of each set, like the Helfire DLC setting enemies on fire, or the Master Assassin DLC making you more adept at using your assassin tools.
