Utah’s Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) has filed a petition against Taylor Frankie Paul, requesting that a court intervene and determine that her three children, whom she shares with ex-husband Tate Paul and ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen, are “abused, neglected or dependent.”

In DCFS’s submission with the Utah Attorney General’s Office, which was filed earlier this week, the organization asked for the court to take jurisdiction over the 32-year-old Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star’s daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 6, whom she shares with Tate, 32, and her son Ever, 2, whom she shares with Dakota, 33.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ on July 15, DCFS wants a timely hearing on the matter, which they hope will allow them to put any necessary protective supervision in place, as well as appoint a guardian to represent the kids and their best interests.

In the petition, Taylor’s history, as well as her ongoing custody drama, which recently saw both Tate and Dakota seeking restraining orders against her, was mentioned.

In response to the petition, Taylor’s representation told TMZ, “It was recently decided that the ongoing custody actions would be best suited for juvenile court, a common step for families engaged in highly contentious, complex custody matters. Taylor is not deterred by this transition; she welcomes the added structure and oversight it provides and looks forward to continuing her progress toward normalizing custody and becoming the healthiest version of herself.”

“Taylor remains fully committed to doing whatever is necessary to reach that goal and will not be swayed from it. Taylor appreciates the professionalism of DCFS and its representatives,” they added.

Meanwhile, in a second report from TMZ, it was confirmed that Taylor had been granted a temporary restraining order against Cru Eaton after accusing him of stalking and harassment following a leaked video he shared on TikTok.

As fans may have seen, Cru, Dakota’s roommate, shared a video of her suffering a meltdown while being filmed by Dakota, who accused her of abuse, after a fight.

“Everyone is so concerned and so focused on what must have been happening before the videos started. You guys do understand that Dakota doesn’t start these fights, so he has no way of knowing when he needs to be recording them, correct?” he asked in a caption.

Cru has been ordered to stay away from Taylor and not contact her for three years.
