Ariana Madix may take Rachel “Raquel” Leviss‘ revenge porn lawsuit to the California Supreme Court.
After the 41-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum lost her appeal to have the case against her dismissed, and as she addressed her future on Love Island USA amid rumors of a potential exit, Ariana, who Rachel, 31, sued along with Tom Sandoval, 44, in February 2024, is considering filing papers with the highest court in her home state.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ on August 7, Ariana has requested that her September 2026 hearing be postponed, pending her decision on whether to escalate the matter, which she must make within 40 days.
As Pump Rules fans will recall, Rachel accused Tom of secretly recording their X-rated FaceTime sessions, and she alleged that Ariana found said recordings and forwarded them to third parties.
In other Ariana news, the longtime reality star recently addressed rumors claiming she may not be returning to Love Island USA for season nine.
“I do [see the rumors]. And obviously I can’t speak yet to what’s going to be happening next season,” Ariana told Us Weekly on August 9. “We did announce already that I will be hosting Love Island Games next year … [But I] can’t say anything that speaks to [plans for season 9].”
As for where the rumors came from, Ariana was unsure.
“I do wonder about that sometimes. [People on social media have] been saying that every year, and I always wonder where that comes from,” she shared. “I have seen comments online that say there’s some sort of two-year thing and I’ve always wondered where did that [rumor] come from?”
“But you know what? It is really nice because so many of those comments will be so positive in the sense that they’re wondering because they’re hoping that I will be back. So that’s really great,” she continued. “But yeah, nothing’s been said. So I don’t know where they come up with that.”
After joining the series as host for its sixth season, Ariana has maintained the role. And, amid season eight, she was joined at the reunion by Andy Cohen, 58.
“I think it’s going to be so great because I’m really, really looking forward to asking them what’s been going on the last few weeks and having them give us all the updates,” she told Us Weekly of the upcoming special. “It is hard for me to keep up when everything is out there. I want to be able to keep up because, of course, I want to be able to ask the best questions.”
Ariana also offered some advice to potential season nine contestants.
“It sounds cliché, but be your most authentic self,” she said. “It is the best way to succeed on the show in any way, shape or form. To succeed with the other Islanders, to find love in the villa and for people [in] the audience to connect with you.”
The Love Island USA season eight reunion begins streaming on August 31 on Peacock.
