Hey, Beyond the Gates fans, I’ve got your two-week spoilers that kick off October 12th, where we’re going to see Dana ‘Leslie’ Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) completely losing her mind when she gets news of a startling development. Plus, Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) is clapping back when she is gleeful about Leslie’s outrage.
We’re diving into what is happening the two weeks of October 12th – 23rd, including Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley)’s life being at risk, Heather Armstrong (Ashley Jones) making a big move, and Samantha Richardson (Najah Jackson) losing it.
Beyond the Gates: Nicole Confesses to Dani
Monday, October 12th on Beyond the Gates, we’ve got Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) confessing to Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley). I wonder if Nicole’s going to tell Dani she gave Dr. Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughn) a key to her place and a key to her heart. Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) and Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) are in defensive mode. Vernon thinks the Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings) mess is nearly done, but it may not be, and the Smitty problem is worsening.
BTG Spoilers: Things Get Worse for Smitty
Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) prepares Bradley ‘Smitty’ Smith (Mike Manning) for what comes next in case things get worse. And it sounds like more evidence may turn up, since Heather is framing him, because Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) is seeking new Impaler intel. So, he may be asking Smitty some more questions soon.
And Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe) invites his dad, Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik), to do something. I wonder if Izaiah is asking Elon to spend some time with him and Eva Thomas Richardson (Ambyr Michelle). Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) feels like he won, but Hayley’s clapping back at him now that the saw is not aimed at her neck.
Beyond the Gates: Shanice’s Engagement News
Then Tuesday, October 13th on Beyond the Gates, Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) is feeling overwhelmed, and Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) intervenes. This may be about a work thing, or it may be after Shanice reveals her engagement to Ashley. We’re going to see Shanice back up at work showing off her nice ring, and Ashley is squealing and runs to hug Shanice.
And then Nicole joins Ashley, Shanice, and Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) at the nurses’ station. And Nicole asks, “What are you celebrating?” And then she sees the ring on Shanice’s finger. And Nicole seems shocked and says to Ted, “Oh, you’re engaged.” We’re also going to see Nicole doing a one-eighty where Ted is concerned.

Remember, a couple of months ago, Nicole was going to tell Ted that she had been fantasizing about him while having sex with Carlton, but then Nicole dropped it because he was getting so much closer to Shanice. And I wonder if Nicole’s going to stop being supportive of his new relationship. We may see Nicole jealous of Shanice getting a ring, despite the fact that Nicole is moving forward with Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan) and gave him a key to her place.
Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) waits for news about his campaign, and Smitty is feeling shame while also waiting. He’s really upset that his Impaler drama and the Leah accusations could tank Martin’s campaign. Naomi tells Jacob to stop, and this may be about him questioning Smitty.
And Samantha is pushing back on Tyrell Richardson (Jaden Lucas Miller), and this may be about him dating Francesca Chessy Belleclaire (Madison Alsobrook), who tormented Samantha at cotillion and stole her crown. Carlton’s fling with Heather goes bad. It looks like Carlton may be tied up or tied down. And Heather pulls out a knife from a bedside table drawer. And Carlton is panicking and asking, “What the hell are you doing?” as Heather is slicing the buttons on his shirt open.
Beyond the Gates: Vernon on Guard
Wednesday, October 14th on Beyond the Gates, Vernon is on guard while dealing with the Hayley situation that still hasn’t resolved. And they’re leaving Bill out of it this time. So, this may be Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) and Vernon making sure they get everything from Hayley after she pulled something with Bill earlier this week.
Dani draws a line with Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla). She may be nagging her mom Dani about Bill. And Nicole reassures Samantha when some lies are spreading, maybe about her dad Smitty. Jacob’s under fire, and Naomi is stressed out. And this may be about the fake evidence on Smitty.
Beyond the Gates: Heather Cozies Up to Hayley
Thursday, October 15th on Beyond the Gates, Nicole and Anita are trying to see the bright side of things. They’re both very worried about Hayley exposing Martin for revenge on Bill. Plus, Martin’s getting ready to make a statement, but then he is interrupted. So, Martin may be interrupted at the campaign event at Orphe Jeans because Vernon is there for it. And he calls Joey from Martin’s event and tells Joey, “We have a problem,” and Joey asks Vernon if it is more Hayley trouble.
Speaking of Bill’s psycho wife, Hayley may have met someone worse than her when she’s up at Uptown. And Heather sidles up beside Hayley. We know that Heather is trying to force Joey’s hand to let her get closer, and Hayley has info that would be very useful to Heather. So, she tells the bartender at Uptown to get a fresh drink for her new friend Hayley. And she asks how Heather knows her name. So, we could see her looking to make a sketchy alliance with psycho Hayley. And having someone like Heather on her side could really help Hayley out of the tight spot she’s in.
Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Joey Makes a Shocking Admission
Joey admits something shocking to Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli). And it would be great if Joey finally told Vanessa that Heather is the Impaler and might have been behind Vanessa’s carjacking. Bill wants Dani back, and he and Ted are talking about things they share in common. Bill took a lot of pleasure in rejecting Dani and rubbing Hayley in her face a year ago, but now Bill wants Dani back. And Ted wanted Nicole back for a while, but then was forced to accept that she was done. And now Ted has moved on.
Naomi is plotting. She wants a way to get the evidence they need. This may be a way to discredit the faked evidence against Smitty or to deal with the drama Jacob’s facing.
Beyond the Gates: Leslie Learns of Ted’s Engagement
Friday, October 16th on Beyond the Gates, Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) snaps in front of Dani. I’m sure it’s about Bill. And Naomi surprises Bill. So, I wonder if Naomi is going to tell Bill to back away from Dani and leave her to her happy new life with Andre.
Leslie is really upset to hear about a development. And I suspect this is when she finds out Ted proposed to Shanice and they are engaged. Eva loses her temper with Kat at Uptown. It sounds like the sisters are discussing their dad Ted’s engagement to Shanice. And Kat tells Eva, now Leslie knows it’s game over for good. Eva calls Kat cold-hearted. And she tells Eva she’ll proudly be cold-hearted when it comes to protecting her family.
Hayley tries to make things right with Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry). So it sounds like Heather may make Hayley an offer, and she may pull Randy into it. And of course, Heather would love that. She would love to use Randy against Joey, because Heather is making a move on Joey by the end of the week, and Hayley may be a part of Heather’s new plan.
Smitty in Trouble and Dani Tempted on BTG
Then the week of October 19th – 23rd on Beyond the Gates, Leslie is going to be reeling after finding out Ted proposed to Shanice. I expect Leslie to rage at Eva, who actually likes Shanice. Leslie may also be ranting and raving to Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy), who may not be amused that Leslie is still hyper focused on her ex. Nicole’s strong reaction to Ted’s engagement may surprise her. It may surprise Kial, too.
Smitty may be in handcuffs soon as Heather’s evidence against him mounts, and it seems quite convincing. Jacob’s facing trouble. So is Martin. Carlton should run fast and far before Heather really hurts him, but she may not let him go. Hayley may not be done wreaking havoc and could be on Team Heather, but at whatever point Randy realizes that Heather is the Impaler, he is going to be terrified. Time’s ticking down to Election Day, and Heather may drop more dirt right before voting to ruin Martin’s campaign and discredit Smitty.
Dani fights temptation, as Bill may soon make it clear that he wants to put their marriage back together. Of course, Dani loves Andre, but it’s like she has some bone-deep addiction to big bad Bill Hamilton, even though he treated her terribly. Samantha is bothered that Chessy has gotten closer to Tyrell, and she may think Chessy is using Tyrell to mess with her. But if Samantha suggests that, I’m sure that Tyrell will be annoyed. Plus, he’s vulnerable and on the rebound since Jessica moved off to California.
