Hey, Beyond the Gates fans, I have got your early weekly spoilers for the week starting November 2nd, where we’re going to see Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings) blindsiding Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) with a baby bombshell. Also, we have got two The Young and the Restless sweeps crossovers that you do not want to miss. One is one that you’ve seen before, and one is a brand-new person from The Young and the Restless who hasn’t crossed over to Beyond the Gates yet.
Also, we will have trouble with Dana ‘Leslie’ Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant), and Bradley ‘Smitty’ Smith (Mike Manning) is panicking, plus election day results for Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) and lots more to unfold in November sweeps, which kicks off in full next week, even though it gets its official start later this week. We also are going to see psycho Heather Armstrong‘s (Ashley Jones) desperation making her more unhinged.
And as usual, before we get into spoilers for next week, we’ll talk about what’s coming the rest of this week on Beyond the Gates. So, let’s get to it.
Beyond the Gates: Wednesday Sets the Stage for Sweeps
If you watched Wednesday’s episode, it set the stage for November sweeps, which kicks off today. So, we had Tracy Tyler (Maria Howell) and Sharon Winger (Bonita Brisker) getting pranked by Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), who pretended her voice was still healing. They laughed it off, but they’re worried about Leslie’s interference in their sessions to honor Barbara, their great friend, who is, of course, Leslie’s mother.
Smitty was sneaking out, packing a bag to take off for Mexico, despite Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) warning Smitty not to do it, because she’s got a private eye already looking for Max there. Thankfully, Martin caught Smitty packing and reminded him that he would be in trouble because of his bail. He can’t leave town. So, these are red flags that the Impaler thing is going to hit high gear in sweeps.
Naomi and Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) worried about the Smitty stuff ruining their marriage, which is going to struggle more in sweeps. Naomi opened up to Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) and Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla), and Jacob was sharing his concerns with Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe). Eva Thomas Richardson (Ambyr Michelle) refused a party from Leslie and seemed to be hiding some wedding planning stuff from her mom.
Vernon’s Hail Mary for Martin on BTG
And that takes us to the first day of November sweeps, which kicks off today, Thursday, October 29th on Beyond the Gates. So Martin and Smitty are getting ready for a big event with Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis). With Martin’s campaign circling the drain, his grandfather, ex-senator Vernon, is going to try to pull a Hail Mary for Martin as election day nears.
Naomi and Bill are butting heads during a legal battle. We’ll see if they’re talking about Smitty’s case or something else. Chelsea and Kat have a big celebration over an important launch. So, it looks like they have fully recovered at ChelseaKat from this Takahashi mess.
We’ve also got Hayley offering some shocking news. So, this sounds like she is going to tell somebody else besides Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) that she is pregnant with Bill’s baby, but I don’t think she’s going to tell her angry ex-husband. Maybe she’ll tell Leslie, because she wants to be Hayley’s friend.
Beyond the Gates: Bill Interrogates Hayley
Then Friday, October 30th on Beyond the Gates, Leslie is trying to dig up some gossip about Dr. Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) and Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson). I still think Leslie may want to sabotage Ted and Shanice’s wedding plans, because I doubt Leslie’s taking the high road. I don’t think she could find it with a map and a GPS.
Bill interrogates Hayley about the latest rumors. So, it sounds like whoever Hayley told about her surprise pregnancy ran the news to Bill, who obviously is not going to believe her. Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) struggles with her ongoing anger towards Randy. Vanessa thinks he was in cahoots with Hayley to poison Bill, and he was.
Even though Randy was Dr. Doug McBride (Jason Graham)’s bestie, Vanessa might be done with Randy, although he denied being involved with that. Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) takes care of business. This may be about Heather, because Joey’s no doubt figured out she’s the one behind Smitty’s arrest. And of course, Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) may circle back around to Joey and beg him to deal with Heather soon, because she is escalating.
Hayley’s Plan to Sell Her Baby on BTG
Then the week of November 2nd – 6th is the first full week of November sweeps on Beyond the Gates. Look for big, big stuff. Hayley’s got this big idea to sell her baby to Bill for a big payday, but I don’t think Hayley will spring it on Bill right away. Hayley told Randy she needs to plant the idea of selling Bill her parental rights very carefully.
So, Hayley may first make a play for child support, as Randy said, by pretending she is going to parent this kid. And then Hayley may wait to see how Bill reacts. The biggest win for Hayley is if it’s Bill himself who suggests that he wants sole custody and offers a hefty payout for her parental rights.
While she’s pregnant, though, Hayley may demand their Fairmont Crest house back, along with the Duprees leaving her in peace, especially Vernon and his veiled death threats, which are terrifying.
Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) is going to hate to find out that Hayley is pregnant, since up until now, Dani has been the only woman to give Bill a child. Hayley’s pregnancy is probably going to have Dani on high alert. I think that’s going to worry Vernon and Anita, and I think it’s going to irritate Andre, who’s honestly already got enough on his plate.
The Race to Save Smitty on BTG
The race to save Smitty is on, but they might not clear his name in time to salvage Martin’s campaign. Naomi’s expert should turn up something, and her private eye is on the hunt for Max to get his testimony. Plus, Naomi is still hoping that Grayson Perez (Jordie Vilasuso) may turn up with something to help save Smitty.
Beyond the Gates: Heather Unravels
Heather is becoming increasingly unhinged, and November sweeps is likely when Dani finds out about Andre and Heather’s past. And of course, Dani will be horrified that Heather has been playing nice to her face. And that reveal will also end any friendliness that Vanessa has towards Heather. Once Heather’s mask is ripped away, I expect things with her to get more volatile.
Joey could have her put away in a heartbeat if he just told Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik) that Heather is the Impaler. But Joey doesn’t want the scrutiny from law enforcement if they find out his sister’s the head of the red market ring, since Joey was already suspected. So, he can’t really let Heather go down. So, his hands are tied in that regard. I think Joey’s going to have to kill Heather. And I kind of think Joey’s working himself up to doing this messy, terrible sister-killing deed.
Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) may struggle as we get closer to Ted and Shanice’s December wedding, but I think Nicole’s going to keep insisting that everything is just fine. It’s ironic that Leslie is saying the same, that she’s fine with Ted getting remarried, but she and Nicole are both feeling the same kind of way about it.
Devon and Lily Cross Over to BTG
Also, this week, The Young and the Restless star Bryton James makes his third crossover appearance on Beyond the Gates as Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James). And this time, Christel Khalil is going to join him. She plays Devon’s sister, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), and she is also crossing over to Beyond the Gates. So, they are going to pop up as their Genoa City alter egos on Wednesday, November 4th.
And I suspect their visit is twofold. First, Devon has been working with Anita on the new Articulettes sessions that are going to feature Barbara’s recordings, but Devon has decided to leave his company over on The Young and the Restless, and he’s going to be starting a university.
So, I think he’s introducing Lily to Anita, because Lily is now running the entire family corporation, including the record label. So, she will be Anita’s point of contact. Also, I think Devon wants to pick Vernon’s brain about the university that he is founding in his dad, Neil Winters’s, name, because Vernon is so deeply involved with Banneker University.
