Hey Days of our Lives fans, we’ve got that big sizzling promo with Dominic Marino (Kyle Pryor)’s plans for Salem and a recast Chloe Lane (Sofia Mattsson) back on the scene looking for another shot at romance. There is so much to talk about in this mega fall and winter promo for the Peacock soap opera.
Also, we’re going to see Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) say goodbye to Salem. Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart)’s life is on the line. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) gets answers, but what she finds out is absolutely going to horrify her.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Dominic Stirs Up the DiMera Family While Chloe Gets a Recast in the Mega Promo
First, let’s talk about the mystery man Dominic Marino. As suspected, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo)’s new son popped up on Halloween on last Friday’s episode. His big reveal to the DiMera family comes this Friday, November 6th, at Lexi’s Memorial at the Brady Pub.
Dominic walks up to EJ and says, “We meet at last.” EJ says, “And you are?” With Marlena there looking shocked, he tells EJ, “I’m Dominic Marino. Hello, brother.” Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is there in disguise as Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk), and she’s going to get to see her new brother.
Word spreads because Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) appear to be talking about Dominic up at the hospital, by the way. Xander asks Philip, “What is he doing in Salem and what does he want from our family?” Xander and Philip may still worry about Dominic since he wanted to buy the Kiriakis mansion.
Also, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) are back for just two episodes. Tony gets to meet his new little brother after the memorial. They’re back at the DiMera mansion. EJ’s there when Tony tells Dominic, “Our father’s favorite pastime was pitting his children against one another.”
Then Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) is telling Belle Black (Martha Madison), “I’m telling you, it will not be long before somebody draws blood.” It seems pretty clear he’s talking about EJ versus Dominic.
Later, Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) asks his new uncle Dominic, “What did my grandfather send you here to do?” He tells Theo, “You’re asking the wrong question. The correct question is what do I intend to do?”
DOOL Spoilers: Rita Tries to Win Back EJ as Johnny and Chanel Walk Out
Speaking of intentions, Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) was very close to Dominic as he grew up. Yet Rita seems to want to patch things up with EJ. Rita goes to him and tells EJ, “I’ve always loved you like you’re my own flesh and blood,” which is interesting.
However, I just don’t think that he is going to be able to trust Rita again. I don’t really blame EJ. I’m also still wondering if Rita might have been the surrogate who carried Dominic in her belly.
Speaking of kids, EJ has disowned Johnny. Things get worse because Chanel tells Johnny, “I want out, not just out of DiMera, out of Salem.” It’ll be safer for him and Chanel to take their kids and leave. Johnny tells EJ, “There is no us anymore.” Then Johnny walks out on his dad.
Sydney Takes the CEO Chair and Stands Up to EJ
All right, now let’s talk about Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh), EJ’s daughter. With Johnny leaving, the company needs a new CEO. It looks like Sydney gets the job, but it doesn’t look like it will be smooth sailing. Nor will she be a pushover that EJ can control, but it sounds like he might try.
In the Days of our Lives mega promo, we’ve got Sydney facing off with her dear old dad. She tells EJ, “I’m the one in the CEO chair. This is my choice.”
DOOL Spoilers Suggest EJ’s Getaway with Cat Turns Tense While Chad Denies Feelings
There’s more EJ drama as Rolf warns Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), “You are not trained as an undercover agent.” Cat smiles at Rolf and holds up a little thumb drive she’s got. But her honey pot days are over soon enough, because we’re going to see EJ in a Hawaiian shirt.
He’s with Cat. Looks like they’re on a tropical getaway, maybe DiMera Island. EJ accuses Cat, “You’ve been playing me all along, haven’t you?” Cat says, “I love you, EJ,” and then she starts crying. I don’t believe it.
Speaking of Cat, Chad insists to Belle, “I am over Cat.” But Belle tells Chad, “I wish I could believe you.” Those two may split back to other DiMera drama this holiday season.
Marlena Asks What Stefano Did as Orpheus Returns
Dominic tells his smiling mother Marlena, “For the first time in my life, I feel like I’m where I belong.” But Dominic’s origin story still haunts Marlena. She’s shaken and asks Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), “What did Stefano do to me?”
We also have a blast from the past in the promo. Orpheus (George DelHoyo), AKA Milo Harp, is back. He tells Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Marlena, “I’ve been expecting you.” Then he says, “The truth is beyond your wildest dreams.”
Orpheus kidnapped Marlena for his own reasons back in the mid-eighties. He may know something. A year after Orpheus took Marlena was when she supposedly died in that plane crash but wound up on Stefano’s island. That’s when Dominic would have been conceived. So it sounds like Orpheus knows something.
Spoilers Hint Stephanie Is Hiding Something as Joy Rants and Kayla Keeps a Secret
We’ve also got tense new scenes of Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) in the mega promo for Days of our Lives. Joy is ranting at Stephanie, saying, “Everything I do is for my daughter.” We know she just made accusations about Joy faking paralysis.
Alex wasn’t having it. Stephanie loses it and tells Alex, “Make a choice. Are you going to believe Joy or your wife?”
Something else big is going on with Stephanie. We’ve got Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) hugging her and saying, “I won’t tell anyone,” as Stephanie looks near tears. Then Steve asks Kayla, “Is there something else going on?” Looks like she doesn’t tell him, so I wonder if Steph is sick.
Also, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) tells her granddaughter Arianna Horton (Vico Escorcia), “We were very worried about you.” But Ari rages at Kate, “Stay out of my life.”
DOOL Spoilers: Christmas Brings Abe’s Invitation to Paulina and a Health Scare
Over at the Horton house, it’s all decked out for Christmas. Lani is kissing Eli by the tree. Lani says, “I need you to remind me how lucky I am.” Very sweet.
Also, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) wants Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) home for the holidays. He asks her, “Would you like to move back in?” Paulina is stunned. Later, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) encourages Paulina and tells her, “Maybe you can go home again.”
Also, love is in the air. Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler) is happy and tells Sydney, “I guess I am falling for you pretty hard.” Watch the full video on YouTube.
Brady Reunites with the New Chloe While Philip Splits from Gabi
We’ve got recast romance too. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf)’s looking out a window through binoculars. It doesn’t look like it’s at Salem. That may be unrelated to this scene I’m about to tell you about, or it may be related.
New actress Sophia Mattsson debuts. We see Brady saying, “Hi, Chloe.” So yeah, she’s the new Chloe Lane. We’ve got Brady and Chloe kissing passionately, and she says, “I miss you so much.”
There’s heartache too. Philip tells Gabi, “I really thought we were going to make it work this time.” Sounds like they’re done. Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote) sadly tells her dad Brady, “Everyone I love, why do they keep leaving me?”
Xander and Sarah Run from Chicago Police as Leo Is Hurt on Days of our Lives
Also, Leo Stark warns Xander, “The Chicago PD is headed to Salem tomorrow to arrest you for first degree murder.” So it looks like Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) takes off with Xander to run from this problem. Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) hugs Sarah and tells Xander, “Take care of my girls.” They take off.
Lani and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) are in Salem PD tactical vests at the Kiriakis mansion, likely looking for Xander. Meanwhile, Sarah tells Xander she feels safer with him. He warns Sarah, “These people can track me down.” She tells Xander, “I’m not going anywhere.”
Later we see a gun in hand and hear a couple of shots fired. So it looks like Xander may have to defend Sarah and Victoria. Warning Xander may get Leo hurt, because he’s on the ground looking gray and just off. Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) is in his EMT uniform working to revive Leo. Javi is crying, “Please let him breathe.”
That’s it. That’s the big promo. Good stuff coming.
