Since Britani Bateman began appearing on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in season five, many of the women have frequently given her a hard time.
Things they have gone to bat with Britani, 55, on have included critiquing her personal life, accusing her of secretly recording them on a cast trip, and more.
It’s safe to assume that most of the drama that is taped for the show airs, as dramatic situations typically bring higher ratings. However, multiple sources spoke to Reality Blurb exclusively to share details of an accusation Britani threw at cast member Lisa Barlow, 51, that was not aired.
“Britani confronted Lisa over her allegedly speaking to her ex-husband,” one source stated, noting that Britani said that Lisa had “told him some story.”
“This is what Lisa does,” they claimed. “She goes behind the scenes and talks to people.”
One source explained that Britani has had a “tumultuous past” with her ex-husband and ended up having to get a restraining order against him.
“He has violated that restraining order,” they stated. “And one of these violations was allegedly him speaking to Lisa.”
They noted that Lisa “talked to him,” and then he “posted about it on Instagram” and posted on Britani’s page.
“He ended up getting arrested and put in jail because of it,” they alleged.
So how did this play out on camera?
One insider shared that Britani “brought it up” to Lisa during filming for the currently airing seventh season of RHOSLC.
“Lisa denied talking to him,” they claimed. “But Britani did not relent in her story that Lisa spoke to him and ended up going to jail, as this violated the restraining order Britani had against him.”
“Britani, for her part, did not appear surprised that Lisa denied it,” they added, “and seemed to feel this is par for the course with her.”
