Cursed Spirits and Jujutsu Sorcerers will soon be clashing once more, as Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivation for the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam will soon be playable for the first time.
Jujutsu Kaisen might be one of the biggest anime franchises of all time, but it hasn’t received much attention in the video game industry, receiving only two official standalone titles in the latter category as of writing. However, that’s soon about to change with another brand-new title set to join the market.
Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivation Will Be Playable at Tokyo Game Show 2026
The next video game based on Yuji’s adventures is Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivation, published by Shueisha Games and developed by poncle, the studio behind Vampire Survivors. While Rumble: Survivation lacks a wider release date, it will soon be playable for the first time, as according to PR Times, it will have a demo available for attendees at Tokyo Game Show 2026.
Tokyo Game Show 2026 will run from Thursday, Sept. 17 to Monday, Sept. 21. The booth will host the first playable demo for Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivation, along with another title based on a new property called UN: Me. It seems likely that the playable Rumble: Survivation demo will be added to digital storefronts not long after the event, giving players worldwide the chance to unleash their own Domain Expansions.
Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivation Turns Vampire Survivors Gameplay Into a Battle Royale
Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivation is a Vampire Survivors-style game, where players select a character from the series and battle endless hordes of enemies while slowly becoming stronger. The twist is that it’s also a battle royale game, where up to eight online players can impose restrictions on other players to weaken them, with the final two eventually facing each other to declare the winner. A solo play mode will also be available.
The gameplay gimmick of Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivation sounds epic on paper, but fans won’t know how well it works until it becomes playable. While a wider release date has yet to be announced, it has been confirmed that the game will be playable in Japanese, English, traditional and simplified Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
