Kandi Burruss spoke out on her Instagram Story following the release of the Next Gen NYC season two reunion seating chart.
After Bravo shared a diagram of who was seated next to whom, the 50-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta alum reposted the image on her own page, while also including a message about daughter Riley Burruss‘ role.
“I can’t believe [Riley Burruss] was part of a reunion!” Kandi wrote, along with a distressed emoji.

Since leaving RHOA in February 2024 ahead of the series’ 16th season, Kandi has been seen in brief cameos on Next Gen NYC and weighed in on Riley’s involvement in the cast’s drama on occasion.
Most recently, after Riley butted heads with Georgia McCann, 27, accusing her of using ketamine, telling her to “shut the f*ck up,” and threatening to “slap this piece of pizza on [her] face,” Kandi expressed support for her daughter, who also shaded her co-star for not being able to afford a Birkin.
“That’s my child [and I’m] gonna stick beside her,” she said. “She has to learn [and] grow [and] I will support her through it all!”
Kandi also spoke out in 2025 on Watch What Happens Live following a tiff between Riley and Ariana Biermann, 24, during which Riley suggested that Ariana had acted stupidly.
“I didn’t think she was wrong … because both of us, we say what we feel and we’re harsh sometimes, but I was just like, I didn’t like the fact that she called the girl dumb,” Kandi admitted. “You could’ve said it how you said it, but when it started going back and forth, she didn’t have to call her dumb. So yes, I would’ve had Riley’s back, but I would’ve told her, ‘You need to take that down a notch.’”
Next Gen NYC season two airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
