Lesa Milan revealed if she’d be open to joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Miami while appearing on Carlos King‘s podcast on Monday.
As she also explained why The Real Housewives of Dubai never returned for a season three, shared if she felt it ever would, and brushed off her ongoing drama with Chanel Ayan, 48, Lesa confirmed that she was back in The States and living in Miami with her family as the ladies of RHOM weighed in.
“Thank God. Thank God [we’re back in Miami] because it’s chaos back home in Dubai… We were hearing missiles being shot over our villa. We had to get our kids out,” Lesa, 37, stated on the August 31 episode of Reality With the King, referencing the current unrest in the Middle East due to the ongoing fighting between the U.S. and Iran.
“We’re here, back in the hometown of Miami with the family, with the Jamaican side. It feels good. I always love coming back home. I have my mom, my grandmother, my brother, my aunties, my cousins, everybody’s here, so coming back to Miami’s never an issue,” she continued. “It’s always like coming back home. But it’s nice. My kids get to eat rice and beans … they get to be normal, which is good. Very un-Dubai.”
She then said that while RHOM was “[her] favorite,” she would likely never join the series.
“I love [RHOM] … I’m friends with them. I love them. Will I be on the show? Never say never, but for now it’s a ‘no.’ I live in Dubai. It’s a ‘no,’” she declared.
Meanwhile, after her comments were shared on Instagram, the RHOM cast spoke out in the comments section, with Guerdy Abraira, 48, writing, “That’s my boo,” Larsa Pippen, 52, sharing a couple of heart-eyed emojis, and Kiki Barth, 37, posting a heart.
During another moment of the podcast, Lesa shared why RHODubai was put on pause.
“The timing was wrong, I think. The war in Gaza happened, I think. The war that’s currently happening happened. I feel like it’s just a timing issue when it came to Dubai,” she reasoned. “Will they ever come back? I don’t think so. I don’t know how they would, because of the logistics — not because of the cast. I think we had a strong cast. I think [Taleen Marie] was good. Caroline Stanbury was good … Me, Chanel was good.”
Although Lesa praised Chanel’s role on the show, she noted that the two of them were “not good” with one another following their falling out years ago.
“We’re not good, but she doesn’t — I don’t mind, and she doesn’t matter,” Lesa stated. “I’m one of these people where I can move on from things. I genuinely can. I’m actually very easygoing when it comes to moving on from things, but once you show me who you are, I take you at face value. I believe you. And she showed me who she was. So, could we get along? Absolutely. But would it be the same season one dynamic? No. Because I’m not a fake b*tch — at all.”
