Prince William poses as a magazine editor in a new photo
Prince William took up the role of a magazine editor and was photographed on the job. PEOPLE previously reported that the future king would guest edit the November 11 issue of Country Life magazine.
On November 5, the Prince of Wales posed for a picture. He was photographed alongside the magazine’s editor-in-chief, Mark Hedges, and managing editor, Paula Minchin. The photo was taken at Windsor Castle, with William reviewing the rough drafts and seemingly giving his stamp of approval.
King Charles served the role twice: once for his 65th birthday in November 2013 and again for his 70th birthday in 2018. Princess Anne handled the 2020 issue. Queen Consort Camilla was behind the 2022 issue, with Kate Middleton even serving as the photographer for her cover shot. Interestingly, Camilla’s magazine edition became the biggest-selling edition of all time.
The magazine stated, “The Prince of Wales’s edition will reflect His Royal Highness’s advocacy for improving access to mental-health services in the countryside, together with his most cherished view, his favorite recipe, his favorite painting and his selection of notable rural champions.”
Fans showed their support for William on the internet. One user commented “Definitely worth buying a hard copy!” A second user wrote, “Lovely,” followed by heart eyes emoji. A third user penned, “Will definitely buy this issue!” A fourth user chimed in, “This is good news.”
