A source shared more details on how Brian Pontarelli’s affair allegedly started and his shocking legal situation with the other woman. On the premiere season of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, Rulla Pontarelli opened up about her husband’s past infidelity.
But her co-star, Jo-Ellen Tiberi (who was communicating with the other woman throughout the season), was determined to prove to Rulla that the affair was still happening. After the season wrapped, Brian was arrested for allegedly putting a tracking device in Rulla’s car. He’s also reportedly suing the ‘mistress’ after she shared and deleted a video of them together.
On Dorinda Medley‘s SiriusXM show, Reality Checked, a woman named Kathleen from Rhode Island called in to share how Brian’s affair allegedly started.
“Last summer when they were filming, I was sitting on the beach next to my neighbor, who happens to be BFFs with Brian,” said the caller. “And what happened was [the other woman] actually does the Botox and everything in his office. That’s how they started having an affair.”
“So he ended up giving her part of his business to let her take over all of the Botox in the office,” she went on. “Now she is suing Brian. He’s [also] suing her because she started … putting her name out, commenting on people’s posts, so everybody here knew who it was. And then it came out that she took over the whole Botox thing, and he gave her part of the business and all of that stuff. So he sued her.”
Kathleen was then asked why the mistress countersued him.
“Because now he’s discussing it. He’s discussing the affair, like he got trapped up into it or whatever,” she answered. “But she came back at him, and she’s suing him.”
Earlier this week on the RHORI: After Show, Rulla shared where she and her husband now stand.
“As of today, Brian and I are still together,” she said. “Honestly, [we’re] better than ever. It’s almost like we rekindled what we always had, but obviously now, I’m very, you know, cautious, day by day. I’ve been taking things step by step, like, with a different perspective. And I see Brian now, and he treats me like he always did before, but even 10 times better. He’s putting all his effort into me and into the kids and into the relationship, going to church, repenting his sins, going to therapy, he’s doing a lot.”
“The reason why I, like, made certain decisions to kind of continue on is just because of who I am and what I consider to be important, and just, knowing Brian the way I’ve known him all my life,” she went on. “That is all, you know, in the past. Major, major series of mistakes, but it’s definitely water well under the bridge, dead and buried, where it should be.”
