Is this the real reason Chloe Fineman is leaving Saturday Night Live?
If you have not heard the news yet, the comedian announced this week that she quit the late-night sketch comedy series after seven seasons. Fans didn’t expect the announcement! It came out of the blue! And she reportedly only decided to leave Saturday Night Live hours before her post because she got an huge opportunity she couldn’t pass up! Page Six reported Chloe was offered a role on David E. Kelley‘s new Netflix show Myron Bolitar, which stars Colin Woodell, KJ Apa, and Diane Guerrero. An industry insider shared that it “all unfolded in one day,” and “it happened very quickly.” The source added:
“Chloe went back and forth, but it was a smart move — she knew she couldn’t say no. After seven seasons on the show, and with all the new faces, it was probably the best move for her.”

However, there is potentially more to the story behind her sudden exit! According to Page Six on Saturday, Chloe didn’t have the best relationships with some of her cast members! Uh oh! Without naming names, an insider claimed:
“Chloe could rub people the wrong way at times. She got along really well with some cast members, but not everyone clicked with her.”
Those she didn’t mesh with allegedly felt the 37-year-old actress wanted everyone to cater to her wants and needs:
“Some cast members felt like she expected people to accommodate her and assumed everyone would adjust to her schedule and preferences.”
The source said that “it wasn’t some huge feud or anything like that,” but she got on some cast members’ nerves at times. Yikes! We wonder who she allegedly didn’t get along with! Is it some of the newbies Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Kam Patterson, Ben Marshall, and Veronika Slowikowska? Or some of her other co-stars Jane Wickline, Ashley Padilla, Colin Jost, Michael Che, Marcello Hernandez, Andrew Dismukes, Mikey Day, Sarah Sherman, James Austin Johnson, and Kenan Thompson?
As we mentioned, the insider didn’t drop specifics on who allegedly had issues with Chloe. A second source close to the show, however, insisted that “there’s no truth to this.”
Hmm…
