Sofia Vergara knows that reporting live from a massive stadium demands smart wardrobe choices. While covering FIFA World Cup 2026 events inside the stadium, the “Modern Family” star proved that comfort and high fashion can go hand in hand, swapping heels for Skechers. Vergara made a humorous behind-the-scenes video showing her real pre-show routine. As a result of the long trek across the venue, she gave fans a candid, relatable look at working on camera.
Sofia Vergara trades her signature heels for Sketchers slip-ins with dangerously plunging top for FIFA
Sofia Vergara strutted across the massive tarmac near the stadium dressed casually for her trek. She paired a brown corset-style top with ultra-wide-leg light blue jeans. On her feet, she opted for bright white Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins sneakers instead of her usual towering footwear.
Vergara walked past security and crew members, happily kicking up her legs and waving her arms. Captioning her post with “When u need to walk the whole stadium before going live! @Skechers slip-ins!,” she showed off the ease of getting around the massive sports venue.
Next, the clip moves inside to a broadcasting desk overlooking the packed soccer field. Once she reached her desk, Vergara took a seat to swap her practical footwear for glamor. Sitting down in her wide-leg jeans, she quickly kicked off her white Skechers sneakers.
Then, she bent down to strap on her signature towering metallic platform heels. With her brown corset top unzipping into a dangerously plunging neckline, Vergara completed her camera-ready transformation. Immediately after slipping on her heels, she stood up, grabbed her microphone, and walked confidently to the desk to broadcast live for Telemundo.
Finally, Vergara’s look complemented her sizzling stadium ensemble perfectly. She wore her long brown hair down in bouncy waves framing her face. Meanwhile, her bronze makeup and dark sunglasses kept her looking radiant under the sun. Ultimately, Vergara proved that even global superstars rely on comfortable sneakers when walking miles around a stadium.
