A new theory has emerged surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s rumored wedding… and it’s coming from a very reputable source!
On Monday, a special guest appeared on CBS Mornings to discuss the rumored wedding of the century: RoseMarie Terenzio! If the name sounds vaguely familiar, it’s because she’s the wedding planner behind JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette’s top-secret wedding in 1996! So she has quite the credential under her belt!
The celebrity wedding planner revealed to hosts Gayle King, Tony Dokoupil, and Nate Burleson that she actually doesn’t believe the official wedding ceremony will be held at Madison Square Garden at all, despite growing rumors! She dished:
“I don’t think it’s going to be at MSG. But I could see her doing something for her fans at MSG.”
As we’ve been following, Taylor and Travis are rumored to be having their wedding during this upcoming Fourth of July weekend. Some rumors have suggested the pair may tie the knot in a smaller, more intimate ceremony on July 2 before heading to MSG on July 3 for a fan event, or that the smaller event could be the rehearsal. Whatever they have in store, we’ll find out soon enough!

RoseMarie went on to discuss how “invested” fans are in the superstar couple:
“I overheard a girl on the train, she was sitting behind me talking to her mom. She was probably late teens, maybe early 20s, and she said, ‘You know, mom, Taylor has to invite us to do something to bring us into her wedding. We’ve been invested in her love life for so long!’ And I think she has such an emotional connection to her fans, and she understands that relationship so well, that I think there will be something for the fans.”
She went on to speculate:
“Maybe she’s already married and she’s going to do a slideshow at MSG.”
Already married?! OMG! What a possibility! We guess nothing is out of the realm of possibility!
On whether she’s surprised or not that more solid details haven’t leaked, RoseMarie noted:
“I think it’s amazing … People are really invested in those two, and I think they’re really invested in them having their moment, I really do. Their effervescence as a couple, they’re always cheering each other on. I just think people are invested in giving them a beautiful wedding.”
Most definitely! That and the fact that even guests reportedly don’t yet know where exactly the ceremony will be held! HA!
As for what goes into planning and keeping things under wraps based on her own experience, RoseMarie added:
“Number one is intimacy. It’s people you know very well and you tell only them. And the other thing is decoys. We left [fake] itineraries for Ireland around the office … Another thing is no texts, no emails, nothing in writing — all by phone or in person.”

Lastly, as far as what she’d be doing if she were in charge of Tay Tay’s nuptials, RoseMarie noted:
“I would be calling and maybe even showing up in person to every single person’s place giving them a little, ‘Keep your mouth shut. Make sure you keep your mouth shut.’ I would be reinforcing the privacy aspect.
