As of September 23, 2026, Forgotten Island remains exclusive to theaters, and the studio has not confirmed a streaming premiere. Leading tracking platforms like JustWatch and Moviefone still list the film as unavailable to stream, rent, or purchase.
While DreamWorks Animation has yet to announce an official digital rollout, based on past release patterns, a digital debut could potentially arrive in as little as 30 days. When will Forgotten Island begin streaming on Peacock?
Forgotten Island could begin streaming on Peacock sometime in late December.
An official Peacock streaming date for Forgotten Island has not been announced yet either. However, DreamWorks Animation titles distributed by Universal Pictures typically follow their digital release and arrive on Peacock around 3 months or more after their theatrical debut.
For those looking for a quick overview, Forgotten Island centers on high school best friends Jo and Raissa. They accidentally fall through a mysterious portal into Nakali, a mythical world inspired by Philippine folklore. Once there, the duo discover that getting back home could cost them every memory of their friendship.
The film features a standout voice cast led by H.E.R. as Jo and Liza Soberano as Raissa. The supporting cast includes Dave Franco as Raww, Lea Salonga as the Dreaded Manananggal, and Dolly de Leon as Fatima / Lola. Rounding out the cast are Manny Jacinto as Bungi, Jenny Slate as Batiba, Ronny Chieng as King Truffle Wuffle, and Kevin McCann as Mermahn, respectively.
