Yung Miami Reveals Where She Stands With JT
Whew, Roommates! Yung Miami is keeping it a BUCK and getting a lot off her chest as she promotes her upcoming solo album, ‘Watch Dis.’ During a recent chat with FlyGuyDC, Caresha spoke about everything from her relationship with JT to her new music and whether fans can expect anymore City Girls anthems. While chopping it up with Miami, FlyGuyDC brought up one of her bars where she raps, “this ain’t JT, but I’m getting money like JT.” Caresha cleared the air and seemingly confirmed that she was actually referring to rapper JT Money. That opened the door for FlyGuyDC to switch gears and ask about her relationship with her former groupmate. When he asked when they last spoke, Yung Miami revealed that it’s been “two years” since their last conversation, which she claimed happened on JT’s birthday.
Miami Addresses The City Girls’ Future
From there, Miami took a moment to reflect on the City Girls’ success, FlyGuyDC, pointed out that it’s been eight years since their hit single ‘Act Up’ took over, and Caresha made it clear she’s proud of how far the song has come. She even admitted that ‘Act Up’ remains one of her favorite records to perform because fans go crazy as soon as they hear the beat drop.
“Every time I perform it, that’s like the number one song.” Miami continued, “It just gives me chills to this day. It’s a moment that I will always remember. Like, that’s a moment that I will take to the grave.”
When FlyGuyDC asked whether fans could look forward to another City Girls era, Miami kept it short and sweet, replying, “Inshallah,” which means “God willing” in Arabic.
Caresha’s Comments Have The TL SPLIT
The Shade Room’s comment section was all the way TURNT UP following Yung Miami’s comments. Plenty of fans felt that going two years without speaking to JT said more than enough. Meanwhile, others argued that folks shouldn’t keep asking Miami about her former groupmate while she’s busy promoting her new album. And of course, some Roomies couldn’t help but debate about what they believe seemingly led their relationship to end.
