Styx is welcoming Peter Beckett of Player, Elliot Lurie of Looking Glass, and Walter Egan—the voices behind “Baby Come Back,” “Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl),” and “Magnet and Steel,” respectively—for one very special night in Florida this fall. The three are converging on Miramar Beach for the group’s three-night beach bash, Rockin’ in Paradise With Styx & Friends.
The news was announced via Topeka Vacations, the group bringing the Styx-curated event to life. The three yacht rock legends are set to take the stage with Yacht Rock Revue, a popular cover band known for bringing together original artists with their modern backing band, on Friday night for a one-of-a-kind collaborative performance dedicated to the era’s greatest yacht rock songs.

The destination music vacation will also see Styx perform two headlining shows, with supporting bands including Tesla, The Marshall Tucker Band, the Eagles’ Don Felder, 38 Special, Jefferson Starship, The Outlaws, and so many more. Renowned rock personality Eddie Trunk will be on hand to lead exclusive guest experiences, again, all curated by Styx themselves.
The event is set for Oct. 8-10 in Miramar Beach, Florida, with single, lawn, and pit passes available. This year marks the event’s second gathering and promises a memorable weekend of classic arena rock, yacht rock, and progressive rock hits. Currently, Styx is on tour with Chicago, hitting major cities across the country including Houston, Denver, and St. Louis, and serenading fans with their classic hits like “Come Sail Away” and “Renegade,” as well as newer favorites from their most recently released album, Circling From Above, which arrived in July 2025.
Styx’s current lineup includes original members James “J.Y.” Young on vocals and guitar, and Chuck Panozzo on bass. The rest of the active touring lineup includes Tommy Shaw on guitar, Lawrence Gowan on keyboards and vocals, Todd Sucherman on drums, Will Evankovich on guitar, and Terry Gowan on bass.
Beckett, Lurie, and Egan have all remained active on the live circuit, frequently playing classic rock and yacht rock festivals. In 2026 alone, the three have shared bills at several Yacht Rock the Dock performances, making them natural collaborations—and perfectly nostalgic—guest stars Styx’s “rockin'” party weekend.
