While Avengers: Doomsday is the next entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe set for release, news is emerging about its follow-up, Avengers: Secret Wars. Drawing from Jonathan Hickman’s 2015 event series Secret Wars, Avengers: Secret Wars will conclude the Multiverse Saga. The assumption has been that Avengers: Secret Wars would primarily feature returning actors from across the MCU’s history. However, a new actor has joined the cast, possibly hinting at the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Deadline reports that Noah Jupe has been cast in an undisclosed role for Avengers: Secret Wars, noting Jupe is playing a “key role. Marvel did not comment on Jupe’s casting. Avengers: Secret Wars is set for release on Dec. 17, 2027.
Jupe is best known for his role as Marcos Abbott in A Quiet Place and its sequel, A Quiet Place Part II, and he will return in A Quiet Place Part III. Jupe recently appeared in the Academy Award-nominated film Hamnet. Other notable credits include Ford v. Ferrari, Honey Boy, and The Death of Robin Hood. Jupe also notably starred opposite Sadie Sink, who recently played Jean Grey in Spider-Man: Brand New Day and will return in 2028’s X-Men, in a West End revival of Romeo & Juliet.
