Heather Dubrow revealed her recent text confronting a co-star who said something “so mean” about her on Real Housewives of Orange County. Plus, Heather suggested that castmates “picked on me” this season, and she hinted at certain co-stars’ “legal troubles.”
In the new season, the cast made fun of how Heather pronounced the word sangria. They also brought up that Heather called newcomer Carmella Garcia trashy-looking off camera, as Jennifer Pedranti claimed Heather was trash- talking Tamra Judge behind her back.
Recently, Heather has suggested that Emily Simpson lured her into a sense of safety before the season, before using her off-camera comments against her. Heather was also disappointed with Gina Kirschenheiter, who exposed Heather’s comments about Carmella in the first place.
On Off the Vine, Heather said it’s hard to be betrayed by someone on camera.
“And the worst part is, when we’re filming, I don’t know what anyone else is doing,” she expressed. “I only know what I’m doing. So I’m living my life. I’m meeting so and so for lunch. We have a group dinner. But I don’t know what else is going on unless someone tells me.”
“This season, I felt very picked on. … The audience sees it,” she went on. “I see it. And it was disappointing from a couple of [my co-stars]. Very disappointing. So that hurt. But then when I watched the show, and I see some of the confessional bites, I’m like, ‘Wow.’ … There was one particular episode [when] one of the girls said something I thought was so mean about me. And I just texted her and I wrote, ‘Wow.’ [She didn’t respond.]”
Heather said she feels like people in her friend group “watch me” and wait “for me to trip.” Later on, she added cryptically, “I think if any network executives had the same legal troubles as some of our cast members, I don’t think they’d still be employed.”
Looking back at when she first joined RHOC, Heather shared that her own family was “really mean to me.”
