Xbox Game Pass has had a pretty amazing 2026 so far, and this summer has gotten off to a solid start already. However, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, and Game Pass subscribers will want to mark June 30 on their calendars. It’s going to be a pretty sad day for anyone hoping to continue playing a handful of games, all of which will be leaving the subscription service on that day.
As revealed by the official Xbox site, quite a few new titles will be arriving on Game Pass near the end of June and the beginning of July. In fact, we’ve already got confirmation on multiple July 2026 Game Pass additions. However, in order to presumably make room for the newest titles, the service will be removing a total of 8 games from Game Pass on June 30, 2026.
Xbox Game Pass Users, Don’t Miss These Games
Now, it’s normal for services like PS Plus and Xbox Game Pass to lose games every month, so this isn’t wholly surprising. Still, for the people who may currently be playing any of these games, you only have about 1 week left to finish them. Otherwise, you’ll have to buy them. The 8 games leaving Game Pass on June 30 are:
- Mecha Break (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Payday 2 (Console)
- Rise of the Tomb Raider (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Tomb Raider (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Slay the Spire (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Ultimate Chicken Horse (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Volcano Princess (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Unpacking (Cloud, Console, and PC)
There are a lot of good games leaving this time around. Unpacking, which might just be the best game of the bunch, has been a cult hit since it released, and Slay the Spire is equally awesome. If you’re a big Lara Croft fan, then sadly, both Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider are leaving at the end of the month.
Xbox Game Pass Is Having A Big 2026
While it might be sad to see so many of these games leaving, the good news is that several notable new additions will be arriving to take their place. RV There Yet? arrives on June 30, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 drops July 2, and Winds of Arcana: Ruination lands on July 6. All three are available on various Game Pass tiers.
Game Pass has had a pretty solid 2026 so far, with some major third-party games like Cyberpunk 2077 being added earlier in the year and first-party, day-one games like Forza Horizon 6 arriving last month. Between the big-name titles, there have also been a number of indie darlings and sleeper hits like Escape the Backrooms. Basically, no matter what you’re into, Game Pass has offered it this year.
In the meantime, you have about a week left to play the listed titles above before they leave Xbox Game Pass. All 8 games are leaving the service on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
