Lindsay Clancy’s lawyer, Kevin Reddington, has lashed back at conspiracy theorists who are dragging another suspect into the murder case.
Reddington annulled theories that Patrick Clancy, the ex-husband of the accused Lindsay Clancy. Many have argued that Patrick was involved in the killings.

Reddington appeared in an interview with CBS Mornings and warned viewers against forming uninformed judgements about Patrick. He told the hosts, “I just think that it’s horrific what this man has been going through, and he’s entitled to move on with his life. And the fact that he’s moved on with his life and still is standing by Lindsay, as far as the legal issues tells the tale.”
He continued, “Listen to the 911 call … The public has not heard it. The jury. I understand that the judge made that ruling, but I have said repeatedly the gut-wrenching horror that is in his voice. No actor in California could ever imitate that.”
The fact is that many people suspect that Patrick framed Lindsay in the gruesome murder. However, Lindsay’s own lawyer has dismissed the claims. Reddington also sent ripples through those following the case by asking US President Donald Trump to intervene and issue a pardon to the accused. Interestingly, Trump only has the right to issue pardons in federal cases and has no powers over state cases like Lindsay’s
Prosecutors have charged Lindsay with 3 counts of first-degree murder for the murder of her 3 children – Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and 8-month-old Callan. Lindsay, a former nurse from Massachusetts, is accused of strangling the children to death.
Following the murder, she tried to commit suicide by slitting her wrists and jumping from her second-story window. However, she became paralyzed and wheelchair-bound due to her attempts.
The defense has argued that Lindsay was suffering from postpartum psychosis. Therefore,she wasn’t in a stable state of mind during the crime. Prosecutors, however, said that the accused was aware of her actions.
The legal proceedings ended in a mistrial because the jurors could not reach a unanimous verdict.
