E! News has reached out to the West London Coroner’s Court but has not heard back.
Al Saud was a member of the House of Al Saud and descended from the great, great-grandfather of King Salman, the current King of Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Victoria Chamorro, who worked with the prince during his stay, told The Telegraph he “engaged well” in his treatments and “proceeded without physical side effects.”
“He was supportive and kind to his peers, making friends,” Chamorro said in a statement. “He was assessed as having symptoms of low mood and anxiety on admission. When he was discharged he was considered not to be at risk of suicide.”
However, Chamorro confirmed the prince “failed to attend” follow-up appointments on Zoom after he was discharged October 14.
“Nevertheless there was no concern for him,” Chamorro clarified. “He engaged well and completed his treatment.”
