Seth Rogen has officially made his debut in the DCU. But instead of playing a major character, the comedian’s first DCU role turned out to be a surprising cameo that nobody saw coming.

Who is Seth Rogen playing in the DCU?
During the production of Supergirl, Rogen was rumored to be part of the movie. Reports suggested his involvement was limited to a voice role, with many suspecting he might be voicing Krypto. However, following the release of Milly Alcock’s film, it was revealed that his role was a minor one. He voices the character of a bus driver, more specifically, an alien bus driver.
In the film, Rogen voices a small alien who assists the driver of an intergalactic space bus. This happens when Kara Zor-El and Ruthye Marye Knoll travel across the galaxy to pursue Krem. Moreover, his cameo as a voice actor in the movie is shorter than expected. Yet, this means that he is now officially part of the DCU.

Rogen is not new to making cameos or voicing characters in movies. Some of his previous voice roles include films such as Kung Fu Panda, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, The Lion King, Mufasa: The Lion King, Monsters vs. Aliens, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and Invincible. In addition to his voice work, he has appeared in films such as Superbad, Knocked Up, Pineapple Express, and Neighbors.
He is currently playing the lead role, Matt Remick, in the series The Studio. This role granted him the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, among many others. The Apple TV+ series is co-written by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, and Frida Perez.
Supergirl was released in the theaters worldwide on June 26, 2026.
