Hey, The Young and the Restless fans. We have got your early spoilers for the week of October 26th, where we will see Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) heartbroken, and we will find out very soon if he loses his mom, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). Plus, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is playing with fire and is about to get caught by the worst person.
Also, next week is when November sweeps kicks off, so look for lots of twists and turns. And as we always do on early edition day, we go over what is happening the rest of this week, and then we get into what is coming October 26th – 30th. So, let’s dive right in.
The Young and the Restless: Sally Introduces Billy to Their Baby Girl
Wednesday, October 21st on The Young and the Restless, we have got Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) absolutely thrilled as she introduces Billy to his newborn baby girl. Meanwhile, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is standing there in the room awkwardly. So, Sally thanks Adam for being such a wonderful coach and helping deliver her baby. And Sally tells Adam that she owes him, but he says Sally doesn’t owe him anything. Sally and Billy are snuggling the baby.
So, Adam finally leaves. He goes to meet Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), and when she sees the blood on his clothes, she thinks that he got into a fight. But Adam tells Chelsea he delivered Sally’s baby. Adam says he couldn’t save Ava, but this time he was able to help Sally. Chelsea takes off with Adam because he says he does not want to be alone, and he’s all caught up in his emotions.
Y&R Spoilers: The New Baby
Sally tells Billy she doesn’t know what she’d have done without Adam being there. And Sally wants her sister and grandma to meet her daughter before the two of them head over to the hospital. Billy holds off telling Sally about Jill’s heart attack and possible impending death. Meanwhile, Chelsea goes and alerts Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), and she tells her and the Spectras to head up to Sally’s suite ASAP.
So Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo), Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell), and Audra go up and are excited to meet the baby. Sally has decided to name her Ruby, because she’s one of an entire family of redheads, and she says Billy can choose the middle name. He has an idea, but doesn’t want to mention it yet. I’m guessing she may wind up being called Ruby Jill Abbott. And then Audra goes downstairs and announces that Sally had the baby, but that everybody else should keep celebrating and enjoy the reception.
The Young and the Restless: Cane Heads to London
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) tells Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) he is going to London to see Jill, and he’s irritated because he can’t find Billy. They haven’t heard the baby news yet. So he says Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) is arranging their flights to get over there. Cane gets more agitated, but then Billy calls to tell Cane that Sally had the baby.
Cane assumes that Billy doesn’t want to go with him to London to see Jill. Billy does not want to leave Sally, at least for tonight. So he tells Cane hopefully he’ll be able to go in the morning once Sally is settled. Billy asks Cane to tell Jill that he loves her and that she has a new granddaughter, Ruby Abbott. And then Lily gets her test results and runs to tell Cane that she is indeed cancer-free. Great news.
Young and Restless: Kyle and Victoria Play a Dangerous Game
Kyle slides over to tell Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about Jill’s heart attack, and she tries to reach Billy about telling their kids, Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie Abbott Newman (Sienna Mercuri), about their grandma. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) wants to know why Kyle was talking to Victoria, and he tells Diane that he told her about Jill, and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) thinks that is very nice of Kyle. Victoria realizes that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) needs to know about Jill, so she texts her dad.
Kyle wants to dance with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), but her feet hurt, and she tells Kyle to go dance with Victoria. So she and Kyle try to dance while looking innocent. And then Victoria gets the text that Johnny and Katie have gone off to meet their new sister, Ruby. So Kyle asks Victoria if she is free tonight. Victoria tells Kyle he is playing a dangerous game, and she decides to play it with him. They head upstairs to a suite at the GCAC and start making out. Clothes are coming off. Lots of fun.
The Young and the Restless: Adam Shows Chelsea a Different Side
Thursday, October 22nd on The Young and the Restless, Adam shows Chelsea a different side of himself. This may be a more emotionally vulnerable side, because Adam seems really hard hit by delivering Sally’s baby and all the painful feelings it brought up about their daughter, Ava, who they lost. So, it’s probably kind of cathartic for Sally, because she’s got Ruby, but all Adam has right now is loss.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) gets the third degree from Victor. It could be about Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). I think it’s more likely about Joe (Chris Grant Wenchell), since Nick may face consequences for roughing up the drug dealer, who is pressing charges. So Nick told Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) he’s confident that the charges for attacking Joe will be dropped, but he may be wrong.
Billy’s Promise to Sally on Y&R
Sally gets a promise from Billy. He needs to get on a plane to go see Jill on what might be her deathbed. So, Billy may tell Sally how sorry he is to leave. And I think we’re going to see Billy promising he’ll be back as soon as he can to start the marriage and their parenthood journey together.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has a change of heart about a rival. Now, this could be about Diane, who has been a rival for a while, but I tend to think it’s about Jill. She and Nikki are longtime rivals, and Jill’s heart attack and apparent impending death might have Nikki softening up and wishing the best for Jill, after they hated each other for so long.
The Young and the Restless: Victoria and Kyle’s Risky Plan
Friday, October 23rd on The Young and the Restless, Victoria and Kyle put a risky plan in motion. They’re already playing with fire, sneaking up to a suite at the GCAC during Sally and Billy’s wedding reception this week, considering all the people that are staying there and just up there partying, and the fact that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) now owns the place. I’m not sure Kyle and Victoria know that Phyllis is the new owner of the GCAC.
Victor gives Adam some good advice. And I suspect Adam is going to tell Victor that he delivered Sally and Billy’s baby, and it took him right back to losing little Ava when she died in childbirth. Adam, of course, is grateful that Sally’s baby Ruby is okay, but he’s just hit real hard. Hopefully, Victor will be sympathetic.
Lauren changes her plans to help a family member. She was the one arranging travel for herself, Cane, and Billy to rush to London to be at her sister Jill’s bedside. So, we’ll see if Lauren is doing something for Billy, who wasn’t planning to leave until a day later because of Ruby’s birth.
The Young and the Restless: November Sweeps Preview
The week of October 26th – 30th on The Young and the Restless, we’ve already got big action with Sally’s baby coming early and Jill’s coronary. And there’s more to come, because November sweeps kicks off Thursday, October 29th, and the new co-head writers’ work starts airing right in the middle of sweeps on November 11th.
Shirley is heading home soon, but we’ll wait to see if Coco sticks around to help Sally out while Billy’s gone. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) may stick around until they find out Jill’s fate. Nick should deliver an update on Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) soon. I’m expecting her to wake up to Nick at her side.
Expect scenes of Sharon going to see Matt at the mental health clinic. I doubt Nick and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) changed her mind about helping Matt, though. Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) may have no choice but to arrest Nick soon. The good news is the Newmans have Michael Baldwin (Christian Leblanc) on retainer, and hopefully his hangover is done soon.
Victoria and Kyle are so close to getting busted, and it’s going to be bad. It’s going to be somebody they do not want to find out. We’ll find out if Jill pulls through or if she passes away. I have a feeling, unfortunately, that she may pass away, which would be really sad, since she’s the last original character left, and Jess Walton is the only original cast member still remaining on The Young and the Restless. Billy and Cane are already just sick to death with worry, and Billy may be devastated, despite all the good things going on in his life right now.
