The Young and the Restless new spoilers for next week that kicks off Monday, October 5th. We are going to talk about the awkwardness with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) glaring at family. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is overstepping and he is hiding something huge from his loved ones.
As we get into the latest The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of October 5th-9th, we’re also going to see Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) celebrating and we’re going to have Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) losing patience.
Young and Restless Spoilers: Nick Gets Awful News
All right, first let’s talk about Nick Newman. He shows up at the new ranch and thinks that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is worried that he’s relapsed and is using again and Nick really hates that everybody thinks he could lose it at any moment. He is getting quite frustrated with everybody.
And then Victor and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) show up and Nick promises everybody that he is still clean. And then Adam asks if Nick has spoken to the cops because Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) is calling around looking for him. And Nick snarks that Burrow has his number, but the family wants to know what exactly is going on. So, Victor asks Nick what they need to know about this and why is Burrow reaching out to Nick?
Nick Acting Cagey on Y&R
But then the GCPD cops show up at the Newman Ranch gate looking for Nick. And Victor does not want anybody to tell them Nick is there. So, at least Victor is buying Nick a little time to explain himself. So, Nick tells his family he arranged to meet with drug dealer Joe. That’s the same guy Nick ran off from Sharon’s coffee shop this week.
And Nick admits things got heated. He shows his bruised knuckles to Victor. But Nick also insists that he gave Burrow a heads up. Nick says he met with Joe and he forced the sketchy drug dealer to admit that he sold Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) drugs. Joe sold her the fentanyl that overdosed and nearly killed Marie. So then, Nick claims that Joe took off and he did too. End of story.
Nick’s making it sound like it’s not a big deal, but Victor finds it strange that Nick just let Joe the drug dealer go. So, Victor thinks there’s more to the story and Nick assumes Burrow wants a follow-up. So, Nick calls Detective Burrow just to get it over with. And then Nick takes off to meet Burrow. And when he’s gone, Victor and Adam are wondering, did Nick kill Joe?
Young and Restless Spoilers: Burrow Warns Nick
At Crimson Lights, Nick meets with Burrow, but Nick does not tell the GCPD detective the whole truth. So Nick says he tried to get Joe to stick around, but says the guy bragged about selling Marie the drugs. And then Nick says Joe just took off. End of story. And Burrow tells Nick, “Do not take matters into your own hands. Let the cops handle this.” And he says, “We’ll take care of Joe from here.” And then Burrow leaves and Nick has this flashback to beating Joe to a pulp and leaving him unconscious in an alley.
So yeah, Nick overstepped and he left the dealer for dead. That leaves Adam worried and he later tells Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) how worried he is about Nick. And then Adam says it’s like Nick is chasing a new high because he wanted to tear somebody apart ever since Noah’s car accident. And Adam is afraid Nick’s going to end up in a jail cell. Chelsea tells Adam she gets he wants to save Nick, but she says Adam can only do so much.
Young and Restless Spoilers: Victor & Adam Worry about Nick
Next week in official The Young and the Restless spoilers, we have Victor and Adam back at the new ranch. And Victor is asking Adam if he has heard from Nick because it sounds like he’s dodging family. And Adam tells Victor that he thinks Nick is hiding something. Adam says that Nick is definitely hiding something from the family, but Adam also says Nick may even be hiding something from the cops.
So, next week on The Young and the Restless, Victor tells Adam he is going to take action himself. And I think we’re going to see more of Victor trying to protect Nick from his own worst instincts. And elsewhere, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) fell asleep at the Danger Zone, and she wakes to find out she spent the whole night in the apartment, and she had this awful dream that Victor showed up at the door and caught her red-handed. In Victoria’s dream, Victor was railing at Victoria for sneaking around with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) while Nick is struggling so much. So then, Kyle shows up at their Danger Zone.

Y&R Spoilers: Victoria Confides in Kyle
He’s surprised to find Victoria stayed the night and she confides in Kyle about what is going on with Nick. And Victoria tells Kyle how worried she is about Nick. Victoria says she does not even recognize her brother Nick anymore. And then Kyle opens a little bit up about his past with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). And Kyle’s talking about when his dad was stuck in addiction to pain pills. And Kyle tries to assure Victoria that Nick is strong. Kyle says Nick has a family that loves him. And he tells Victoria he thinks Nick’s going to get through this. So Kyle also tells Victoria that all Nick needs is Victoria’s faith and love.
All right. Now, let’s talk about Sally Spectra. At the end of this week, she’s with Chelsea and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) at the GCAC. And Sally, Chelsea, and Audra are talking about the bachelorette party. But when Sally leaves to take a call from party planner Pietro (Jai Rodriguez), things get tense between Audra and Chelsea. And basically, we’ve got Audra not liking that Chelsea is going around her and running ideas by Sally. Audra thinks that Chelsea should run them by her first, and Audra has to remind Chelsea she’s the one planning Sally’s bachelorette party, not Chelsea.
Young and Restless Spoilers: Audra’s Claws Come Out
The bottom line is Audra does not like Chelsea because of what she put Sally through when Chelsea was cheating with Adam while he was with Sally. And Audra thinks the only reason Sally even wants to be friends with Chelsea and asked her to be a bridesmaid is because of Sally’s pregnancy hormone. So Chelsea, of course, feels guilty. She wishes she could take back hurting Sally. And Audra thinks that’s just a ridiculous thing to say.
When Sally comes back, Audra and Chelsea act like everything is fine, but Audra keeps throwing jabs at Chelsea. And then next week at Society, it is party time. Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) excitedly welcomes Sally to her bachelorette party and all the ladies gather. So, we’ll see if Audra and Chelsea fight at the party. Also, next week at the Abbott mansion, Billy Abbott arrives for his bachelor party and we’re going to see Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), Jack Abbott, Kyle Abbott, and Cane Ashby are all there.
Young and Restless Spoilers: Billy’s Bachelor Party Gets Awkward
And then Michael says, “There’s the man of the hour.” And everybody is patting Billy on the back. Everybody except for Cane. He is glaring. We’ve got Billy and Cane staring at each other really awkwardly. So, it looks like Billy and Cane are going to have some drama of their own. And I wonder if this is just the baseline Billy and Cane animosity or if there’s something more going on with their shared mom, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).
Hopefully, Billy and Cane can get along and keep things civil long enough to get through the bachelor party and Billy’s wedding. Be sure to check out our full weekly spoilers video tomorrow for the week of October 5th-9th, plus two-week spoilers, predictions, and lots more.
