Hey, The Bold and the Beautiful fans. We have got Katie Logan (Heather Tom) already wanting to target Forrester Creations because of the way Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) has treated her. And soon, when Katie finds out that Brooke is going behind her back and seeing Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) again, well, Katie is really going to lose it, and she’s going to want revenge, and not just on Brooke.
Today, we’re going to talk about the very real possibility that the Forrester family business may go broke and wind up in ruins. That would be the ultimate revenge for Katie, after all she feels Brooke has done to her. So, let’s get into it.
The Bold and the Beautiful: Forrester Banks on the Youth Line
As you know by now, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and everybody else at Forrester Creations is banking on this new Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) youth line to save the company. Ridge said they need RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) to hit a home run to pull them out of the ever-growing hole that they’re in. And it started when Ridge kicked Eric Forrester (John McCook) out of his own company.
But I’m almost certain this Electra line is not going to be the smash success that Ridge, Eric, and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) are hoping for. Ridge unwisely put newbie RJ in charge of the line and basically demoted Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz), who had been promoted to lead designer of the Hope for the Future youth line.
And RJ and Electra were pandering to Zende and paying him lip service, while simultaneously disrespecting him, and now RJ’s stuck flying solo, and I really doubt he’s up to it. I expect lackluster youth line sales and bad reviews, because Electra is a spoiled nepo baby and RJ is inexperienced. I doubt it’s going to save Forrester.
Brooke Pushed Katie Too Far on B&B
If you remember, when Katie first launched Logan, she was competing against Forrester simply because they were both in the fashion industry, but she wasn’t being vicious and taking aim at them personally. But Brooke mocked her endlessly, telling Katie she would fail.
Brooke said she was going to be humiliated and wouldn’t find a designer. It was just constant naysaying. And then she said Katie had no right to use their family name. And Eric lied to Brooke and Ridge about how he ended up at Logan, and he heaped all the blame on Katie.
So that led to more attacks from Brooke, some of them even physical assault. So, Katie’s patience, understandably, is maxed out. And now, after finding out this week that Brooke brought Bill over to her house multiple times behind her back, working an agenda, I think we’re going to see Katie ready to burn Forrester down.
I will say Brooke wasn’t being seductive directly, but it was inappropriate. And then there was that whole flirty thing going on with Bill and Brooke when she was giggling and Bill did the stallion thing, so the optics are really bad. Plus, when Brooke asked, Bill told her way too much about Katie’s feelings and her plans. It was intrusive and not appropriate.
Bold and Beautiful: Katie Smashes a Window
Later this week, we’ve got a confrontation, with Brooke calling Katie crazy after she smashes a window at Forrester, and then she calls Brooke evil. So, I’m sure this is about Bill being with Brooke, since he’s back over at her house, and she’s raging about Katie’s press release about Zende. So, that’s at least three meetings with them alone.
I suspect Katie finds out Bill’s there and assumes the worst, because Brooke has snuck around so many times with Bill behind Katie’s back, actively pursuing Bill while he was with Katie. So, of course, she’s going to be on high alert when she finds out Brooke called Bill over to her house more than once recently. Even Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) warned Brooke that going to Bill was a very bad idea.
The Forresters Caused Their Own Problems on B&B
Honestly, it’s Brooke’s actions that led to Katie ramping up and vowing to bring Forrester Creations to its knees. Eric’s lies have aggravated the situation. And when Katie begged him to come clean, Eric chickened out.
Also, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) owns a share of the blame because of the way she treated Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) over the years, and Ridge started it with Eric when he kicked him out, and then he iced the cake by promoting golden boy RJ over Zende. Even though they all want to blame it on Katie, the Forresters caused most of their own problems.
With that in mind, the question is, what’s next for Forrester Creations? And will Katie get the ultimate revenge and take over the LA fashion scene while they circle the drain? Let’s get into it.
Bold and the Beautiful: Zende’s Big Success at Logan
So, the first thing is Zende has complete creative control at House of Logan, and I think he may start a youth line. Even if he doesn’t, I doubt RJ and Electra’s youth line is going to be the smash that Forrester needs to recover financially. Official The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that for the first time ever, Forrester is in trouble.
So, the second thing is we are expecting another dismal launch for Forrester. And at the same time, I expect Logan‘s going to have another big smash launch. Whether Zende does ready-to-wear, or it’s a Hope Next line, or it’s a youth line, no matter what, Zende is a fantastic addition to Logan, and I expect another huge success from him.
And that’ll make the Forresters angrier, because in their minds, Katie stole Zende. Even though it’s Ridge’s fault that they screwed up and lost Zende, the Forresters are likely going to spiral and focus on hating on Katie, when they should be focused on their own business and their own bottom line.
Could Forrester Need a Loan on B&B?
Another possibility to bail out Forrester Creations is that Ridge may decide they need to borrow money. They may need some cash to tide them over until they get out of this slump. Carter and Eric may not like it, but if Forrester Creations can’t stay afloat otherwise, Ridge and Steffy may decide there’s no choice but to take out a loan.
If so, we may get a little replay of a flashback from 2009. That was back when Eric fired his ex, Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery). If you were watching then, there was a lot of public fallout over Eric firing his co-founder Stephanie, and Forrester Creations sales plummeted. Then Eric took out a loan, but he ran late on a payment. And then the bank was ready to foreclose on Forrester Creations.
But it turns out Bill was pressuring the bank because he wanted to buy Forrester. And in the end, Eric had no choice but to sell. Then Forrester became a subsidiary of Spencer Publications for a while. That’s when Katie, Brooke, Donna, and Hope joined in at Forrester. And Katie was the CEO at the time. And she actually started Hope for the Future with her niece.
History Could Repeat Itself on Bold
But the Forresters got the company back, if you remember, because Steffy blackmailed Bill. She said she was going to tell Katie they almost slept together. Steffy and Bill didn’t do the deed, but they came close, and then Steffy stole Katie’s engagement ring as proof and basically forced Bill to give back Forrester.
Related to that, if Ridge takes out a loan and Katie or Bill take advantage and buy up the debt and take over, we could get another blackmail situation that’s similar. Like, Brooke gets Bill into a compromising situation, and then Brooke blackmails Bill and threatens to tell Katie if he doesn’t give back Forrester.
Remember, Ridge said they need to do whatever it takes to stop Katie. Brooke was replaying those words in her head before Bill showed up. So, Brooke may start out like she’s seducing Bill, but then stop short of actually doing the sex thing. And then if Ridge gets mad at her, Brooke can say, “Look, you said whatever it takes.”
B&B Shocker: Katie as Boss of the Forresters?
Another thing we could see is, if Katie and Bill buy up Forrester as it’s going broke, they could merge Forrester with House of Logan, with Katie as CEO and Ridge, Eric, and Steffy reporting to Katie. That would be so much fun to watch, her having power over all the Forresters, with her as the boss.
We’d see Ridge, Eric, and Steffy constantly thwarting and undermining Katie. That could go on for years, with her as a tyrant and the Forresters under her heel. Flipping the dynamic could be really interesting. We’ll see.
