Season 11 of Below Deck Mediterranean is currently airing on Bravo.
Throughout the season, fans have watched star Nathan Gallagher struggle with balancing being the bosun while wanting to be with baby mama Gael Cameron.
As fans know, Gael was previously on the show in seasons nine and 10, but she is not a cast member this season. Nathan has been on the show since season nine and has remained on since.
Today, TMZ reported that Nathan was arrested for domestic violence several months ago and is now the subject of an apprehended violence filing in Australia.
According to Rolling Stone, on December 27, 2025, Nathan allegedly assaulted an unnamed 29-year-old woman at an apartment complex near Sydney, Australia.
They also revealed that, due to the alleged incident, Nathan was charged with “assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally chok[ing a] person without consent, and common assault.”
Rolling Stone did not reveal what he pleaded to the charges, as it is unclear.
While the victim wasn’t named in the report, the outlet noted Gael filed an apprehended violence application, which is similar to a temporary restraining order, against Nathan.
The Daily Mail initially reported on the apprehended violence application, and they revealed that a court date is scheduled for September 1 of this year.
They further detailed that the court can grant the apprehended violence application if they find reasonable grounds for a person to fear violence, intimidation, or stalking.
Fans recently began speculating over Nathan and Gael’s current relationship status after she unfollowed him on social media.
Nathan and Gael share a son, Kayden, who was born in June of last year.
Bravo, Nathan, and Gael have not commented on the situation to date.
