Hey, Days of Our Lives fans. We’ve got new early edition spoilers for next week starting October 12th with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman)’s betrayal blindsiding his father. Plus, Belle Black (Martha Madison) is shocked by a bombshell that is dropped on her.
Also, in the week of October 12th – 16th, there is a scandalous twist with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd). Plus, Dante Vitali (Franco LoPresti) is stirring up trouble in Salem, and the Kiriakis family is hoping for a very successful sabotage. Let’s dive right into it. And as we always do on early edition day, we’ll go over what is happening the rest of this week and then talk about next week.
Days of Our Lives: Joy’s Plan at Risk
So, on Wednesday, October 7th, on Days of Our Lives, we’ve got Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins)’s plan at risk thanks to Tate Donovan Black (Leo Howard) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Obviously, Joy is faking her paralysis, and she wants to move in with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) to keep trying to win him over.
So, it may be that Sarah and Tate have an idea about a different place for her to live that’ll be easier for Joy and the wheelchair. Or we may also see Sarah suggesting some kind of strength training with personal trainer Tate. The more close contact she has with people, the more likely Joy’s fake paralysis will be discovered. However, you would think Sarah would want her to get proper physical therapy, not help from gym rat Tate.
DOOL Spoilers: Jada & Shawn Get Romantic
Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) share some sexy, romantic alone time together, and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is having a nice day that turns sour. And this may be about the counterfeit bags. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) interrogates his increasingly disloyal henchwoman, Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney), about her ties to Dominic Marino.
So, EJ recently overheard Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) talking about Dominic with Rita. That was when Marlena was asking if she really is Dominic’s mother. But Rita may not be ready to tell EJ the truth until Dominic makes his big Salem debut. Watch for Rita to be slippery in this conversation with EJ.
Days Spoilers: Rachel Takes a Turn
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) has to make a hard choice. Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote) went to school complaining of a stomach ache. But Brady said she had no fever, and he thought it was Rachel’s math test anxiety.
But then Brady got a call while he was helping sabotage the Kiriakis mansion, and he had to go pick Rachel up at school. So, it looks like Brady is going to have to take Rachel to the hospital when her pain intensifies.
Dr. Sarah is there on shift to check in on Rachel, and Brady is saying that she’ll take good care of Rachel But all she wants is her mom Kristen, who is back on the scene by the end of the week.
DOOL Spoilers: Johnny’s Betrayal Blindsides EJ
Thursday, October 8th, on Days of Our Lives, Dante shocks Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh) by popping up in Salem. She’s tapping away on her laptop in the DiMera living room when, guess what? Her future stepdad Dante just sweeps right into the room, and he tells Sydney that he sees she’s working hard as usual because she works for him. We’ll have Dante and Sydney having a nice chat. And I wonder if Dante’s going to stick around long enough to meet EJ, his fiancée’s ex-hubby.
Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) gives her unwavering support to Lani Price (Sal Stowers). And I do wonder if she might flunk a pee test because of the pot donuts that were accidentally served at Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens)’s baby shower. Paulina is still working on that pardon from the governor. Meanwhile, Chanel wants Johnny to make her a promise, and this may be for him to not back down off ratting out EJ’s dirty deeds to the DA.
DOOL Spoilers: Belle in For a Surprise
And speaking of the district attorney, Marlena gives Belle some surprising news. And this may be when Marlena drops the bombshell on Belle that Dominic is her brother, or could possibly be her brother.
Commissioner Jada Hunter tracks down EJ with some serious questions. He is going to be stunned to find out that his son Johnny ratted him out to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), Jada, and DA Belle Black. And EJ’s blindsided to hear Johnny spilled his and EJ’s involvement in the Coriseal cover-up, as well as EJ and George’s various crimes related to this matter.
Days of Our Lives: Kristen Finds Sophia Alive
Then Friday, October 9th, on Days of Our Lives, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans)’s discharge orders for Joy make her very unhappy. So Kayla may encourage Joy to get signed up for physical therapy, which could expose her fakery to Alex. But Kayla does cut Joy loose, and Alex takes Joy home to his and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein)’s apartment.
But then Kelsey Kiriakis (Lena and Mira Chase) is really crying while Alex is gone, and Stephanie hears it from the hallway. She starts knocking and calling out, asking Joy if everything’s okay. Joy gets up out of her wheelchair to check on Kelsey just as Stephanie is trying the door handle. Despite all this Joy drama, Alex and Stephanie get some much-needed alone time.
Days Spoilers: Belle Turns to Chad
And Belle asks Chad DiMera (Connor Floyd) for help. And I wonder if Belle’s going to tell Chad about the Coriseal stuff or if it’s about Dominic, because he is apparently both Belle’s brother and Chad’s brother.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) gets disturbing news about Johnny, and Kristen finds a very much alive Sophia waitressing at Kay’s Diner in Paducah, Kentucky, and calling herself Amelia in a thick Southern accent. Kristen’s all in black in a hat, disguising her appearance, and then calls Sophia by her real name. And then we’re going to see Kristen and Sophia having a face-off at the diner, and we’ll find out more about what she’s been up to all this time.
DOOL Spoilers: Kiriakis Sabotage and Dante Stirs Trouble
October 12th – 16th on Days of Our Lives, we’ll find out if Rachel has appendicitis or something else serious. And Brady may start searching for Kristen because of this. Sophia being alive seems to be of great interest to Kristen, and I expect her to haul Sophia back to Salem soon.
Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler) and Sydney may be sparking. And Stephanie being right across the hall is going to keep the pressure on Joy and the whole fake paralysis scheme, since Stephanie might easily get a glimpse of Joy doing something she shouldn’t be able to. Stephanie may have even agreed Alex could bring Joy back to their place so that she can keep an eye on her, since she’s right across the hall.
Days of our Lives: Dante Shows Up?
Dante may be in town to check on the Kiriakis mansion for Dominic. We know that Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Susanne Rogers) cooked up that scheme to create undisclosed issues with the home to derail the sale. We’ve got plumbing and electrical problems. Those are good. The rats can be fumigated, though. Black paint will never pass as mold. And asbestos is ludicrous. It is invisible. It is microscopic. It’s not like Brady can just go buy some. It’s banned in the US, and I think Canada, too.
Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) begin to rebuild Titan. But the question is, are they out of the woods? And EJ may warn Sydney and tell her to be careful around her soon-to-be stepdad Dante. I’m also curious if Sydney tells anybody else that Dominic and Dante were old school chums, because that would put EJ on high alert for certain.
Johnny should be getting an official immunity deal, and he may be planning to leave town with Chanel and their kids after blowing up EJ’s life. And we’ll have to wait and see if Johnny’s deal results in EJ getting arrested, or if the evidence was thoroughly destroyed and Belle doesn’t have enough to make a case against EJ aside from Johnny’s statement.
Days Spoilers: Theo on a Mission
Meanwhile, Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) says he wants to help take down DiMera. So, he might use his computer skills and access to recover deleted data that George and EJ scrubbed from the DiMera servers.
Sarah continues to stress about Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) and that pesky lawsuit. And Marlena may open up about Dominic to Kate and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), since they were all on Stefano’s Island at the same time, just to see if they have any information that can help her.
