It’s been two weeks since Robert, Jr. has passed and Mary explains she has snapped into “survival mode.” Luckily, she has Angie to help keep her mind thinking about other things, like the new girl in the group. On this episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, the ladies venture to San Francisco as Quai wonders where her friendship stands with Whitney.
Angie thinks Quai is “darling,” so she wonders aloud to Mary about a secret Whitney shared about her. Apparently, when angry at her fiance, Quai once took his toothbrush and cleaned the toilet with it.
While Mary and Angie gag over that, Quai hangs out with Bronwyn and Whitney at a bar. Quai tries to get to know the group. She did not like that Angie referred to her as an aggressive new girl and wonders what is up with Heather. Heather was so nice to Quai, but then turned at dinner when she lost her marbles on Meredith.
Bronwyn is a bit leery of Quai. You see, Quai is friends with Whitney AND Lisa…and Bronwyn has a problem with Lisa so… Bronwyn admits to saying awful things about Lisa and Quai reminds Bronwyn she will always have Lisa’s back. It’s rumored not to get on Quai’s bad side, so perhaps Whitney should have thought before sharing the toilet toothbrush secret with Angie…
Because of this, Bronwyn’s upcoming trip will be interesting. Mary is choosing to sit in her peace rather than going to San Fran. Bronwyn feels like her best days were in San Francisco and she wants the girls to let loose.
Everyone is busy packing for California, especially Angie. Things are not great in her marriage. At one time, she was always with her husband, but for the last two years, they are seemingly avoiding each other. Angie explains that it is like she is “living with a stranger.”
DJ Meredith is living her best life. It started with West Hollywood pride and now she has moved to her “Diplo era” now. Because she is under a lot of pressure, she is looking to Seth for some help, especially with the kids. Her kids have been involved in her businesses for a long time and Meredith likes being with her children; however, Seth refers to her as a “smother.”
It just so happens that the group is heading to San Francisco on St. Patrick’s Day. Of course, a few of the ladies get festive, especially Whitney who is 69% Irish. Naturally. Britani is still as irksome as always and Meredith still has no patience or tolerance for her.
They land and pile into a Sprinter van and Bronwyn talks about her past life in San Francisco. She wants to be as happy as she once was. Heather kind of feels sorry for Todd– Bronwyn married him, took all of his money, and then started dating a model. Ooph.
Bronwyn goes on to say that she did the E! red carpet commentary for the Oscars. Even though she always gets invited to the Oscars, Lisa, once again, chose not to attend. She picks and chooses what she attends, allegedly, because she gets invited to soooo many things.Lisa points out that she got invited before Housewives, and that she did not need a Housewife title to get invited, which is meant to be a dig at Bronwyn.
As the ladies unpack in the hotel, Bronwyn, Angie, Whitney, and Heather catch up and talk about Quai. Whitney points out that Quai had interesting experiences with Heather and Angie. Whitney shares that Quai referred to Heather’s behavior as “diabolical” and Bronwyn states that Quai thought Angie was “hazing” her.
An angry Angie outs that Quai rimmed the toilet with her hubby’s toothbrush, making Whitney look more and more guilty of spreading the rumor.
All of the ladies head out for the evening donning their green attire. Angie hands out toothbrushes to the group and she tells the whole toilet story in front of everyone. Of course Angie heard this story from Whitney, which p*sses Quai off. She threatens that she only does that to people who really make her mad. Quai plays it off and shares the entire tale, choosing to make it a funny moment, not an embarrassing one.
Quai makes it clear she is not belittling any issues the women have with Lisa, but she did not like the way Angie called her out for being the new girl. Bronwyn backtracks that she heard Angie say the disrespectful comment, but Lisa calls this all a joke. Quai denies calling Heather diabolical (the word Whitney chose to use) because in reality, she referred to Heather as “diablo.”
Quai was expecting Whitney to have her back, but now things are spiraling, especially when Bronwyn reminds Quai that she does not appreciate being told STFU. And this is only activity 1!
Lisa refers to Whitney as delusional and reminds Quai that the ladies do this all the time. Lisa acts as Quai’s protector and when Quai melts down, Meredith and Lisa are there to try to help her. Bronwyn just wants them to have fun and move on, but Whitney is annoyed that Quai told her to get away.
Whitney is walking a fine line having Quai in the group, as they are friends, but now she is losing Quai to Lisa and Meredith. Quai lets Whitney know that she is the one who started this and now she is too late with her backtracking. Quai explains that she was loyal to Whitney, but now she is just disappointed in her… Where do they go from here?
