It’s Big Brother finale day! By the end of the night, we will know who won BB28 as another epic season ends. Big Brother has been very polarizing this year. There’s been a lot of Rick Devens, Dee Valladares, and Angela Murray criticisms over advantages.
It’s been a wild ride and it’s almost over so let’s talk about who will win Big Brother 28 and who should win BB28. We’re going to break down how the jurors will vote and the two likely scenarios. Plus, some other fun stuff.
Big Brother 28: Who Rises with Drew?
There’s two big factors at play. Number one is who’s in the final two chairs next to Drew Campbell who’s a lock no matter who wins part three of the final HOH. And number two, will the jurors make their decision based on gameplay or personal factors?
So, Devens was told by Drew the wrong thing about part three of the final HOH. He told Devens it was the fill-in-the-blank jury statements and unless they flashback to BB19 or prior, Drew’s wrong. Devens’ wife, Becca, is worried that Devens might think Drew sabotaged him on purpose.
But also Devens was sitting and studying. He was alone in the backyard hammock going over events, eviction by eviction, who was on the block, who played the comps, and all the votes against each person. So, he is on the right track now. Taylor Brown has been studying a lot though.
But it is more than just knowing the facts. Last season’s Big Brother 27 winner, Ashley Hollis, said that the comp moves incredibly fast.
So even if that data is in your head, you have to be able to retrieve it really fast. She said Julie is yelling at you for answers and it’s really high pressure.
Taylor has a bit of a leg up on studying. However, Devens is a really quick thinker. I think it’s anybody’s game and they’re both committed to taking Drew to the end.
Big Brother: How Will the Jury Decide?
Now, we’ve got these two voting scenarios instead of three we usually have at this point. Taylor versus Drew and Devens versus Drew. So, let’s talk about whether the jurors will vote emotionally or rationally.
Right now, a majority of the polls and the gambling prediction sites all have Devens at very high odds to win. They have Drew in second place. And they have Taylor in a distant third. And if it was all three of them sitting together in chairs at the end, all of that would be accurate.
The thing is it’s all down to that Part three final HOH. And I still think that she has a leg up over Devens. Because if Taylor wins Part three, that’s it. Devens’ game is done.
Counting Down on BB28
Let’s work through the jury from juror number seven back to juror number one. Thursday night, live on the episode, we’ll see Devens or Taylor sent out to jury. If it’s Devens, I think he’ll vote on gameplay which also coincides with his emotional choice.
He’ll vote for Drew because Devens does not respect Taylor’s gameplay. I also think if Devens wins Part three and Taylor is juror number seven, she will vote based on gameplay. And I think her vote likely goes to Devens because she does not respect Drew’s gameplay, all feelings aside.
Juror number six is Dee Valladares. There’s some debate over whether she actually spent overnights in the jury house or went straight to sequester.
If she did spend some overnights in jury before sequestering, she might have been able to work on people about voting for Devens and/or Drew. Either way, Dee’s personal vote will go to Devens if he’s in a final two chair. And she’ll give her vote to Drew if it’s him versus Taylor.
Juror number five was Melody Morris. She’s been anti-icon for many, many weeks and despite her and Drew insisting they’re just friends, there are feelings of some sort there. If it’s Devens versus Drew, I do not think there’s any way that Devens gets her vote since he nommed her out of BB28.
And if it’s Drew versus Taylor, I still think Melody will give Drew her vote. I’m not sure if Melody loves Drew or if Melody just loves to hate on him, but there are strong feelings there. And Drew shielded Melody as long as he could in BB28. I think Drew gets her vote.

Big Brother: Top of the Jury Pile
Juror number four was Yash Patel. And he’s got a lot of respect for gameplay but was also very close to Taylor in the game. Yash finds Drew very, very annoying. And he had a lot of like and respect for Devens. So, if it’s Drew versus Devens, I think Yash gives Devens his vote.
If it’s Drew versus Taylor, I think Yash would give Taylor his vote. I think she’ll make a solid F2 speech. She plans to explain she was not hiding in her pod, she was strategizing in her pod. Drew was drafting off the icons will be how Taylor talks about him and it’ll pay off.
Juror number three was Barrett Pfeiffer. And his vote is interesting. He was close to Drew throughout the season and was also a vet pet to Devens, Angela, and Dee although Barrett was closest to Dee. He and Drew bonded over being the rat and the weasel. Barrett and Drew had very similar gameplay.
If it’s Devens versus Drew, I think Barrett votes for Devens for playing a solid game whether you like him or not. If it’s Drew versus Taylor, that’s complicated. I think Barrett will listen closely to final two speeches. You may assume he’d vote for Drew, but I think Taylor has a shot to win him over.
Juror number two was Angela Murray and she’s a real hothead. Yes, as a superfan, she respects gameplay but she’s also a messy person, keeping it real. If it’s Devens versus Drew, I think one hundred percent, Angela gives her vote to Devens. I do not think she’d consider Drew for even a moment.
If it’s Taylor versus Drew, we could see Dee and Devens whisper to vote for Drew. But I think that big fight Angela and Melody got into could have Angela dig in her heels and vote against Drew because of Melody. Also, Angela really likes Taylor and has been hot and cold with Drew all of BB28.
Number one and our very first juror of course, was LaTrice “Lala” Verrett. She’s pretty easy to vote call, I think. Obviously, if it’s Taylor versus anyone, Lala will vote for Taylor. But especially, Drew sitting next to Taylor—Drew does not stand a snowball’s chance of getting Lala’s vote.
If it’s Drew versus Devens, I also think Lala leans away from Drew. I distinctly remember Lala saying I told you Drew is a you-know-what. I do not think Lala throws a vote to the young man she dislikes that much. And Drew does not like Lala and did not really hide it.
Counting the Votes on BB28
Okay so that’s my breakdown and here’s how that would tally up. If Devens wins HOH part three, he’ll take Drew to final two and the kid gets seventy-five thousand dollars with Devens winning a 6-1 landslide with Melody as the sole vote for Drew. I can see Devens getting Dee, Yash, Barrett, Taylor, Angela, and Lala.
If it’s Drew versus Taylor, I see Barrett as the swing vote. I think Drew can count on Devens, Dee and Melody. I think Taylor can count on Yash, Angela and Lala. And Barrett would decide who wins it. Drew was his ally for most of the game but Barrett could be persuaded to Taylor I think.
In these two scenarios, the only one I see as locked is Drew versus Devens with the Survivor taking home the check. But Drew might win AFP either way since he’s at the top of a lot of the polls. And voting is closed as of noon on show day.
Now, there’s the question of who should win BB28. No shade at Taylor or Drew and I know I’ll get rage in the comments from the icon-haters, but I think Devens deserves to win. I fully acknowledge the week one safety. So, did Rome Seymour, Chuk Anyanwu and Jason De Puy because of the safety comp by the way.
Aside from that, Devens made strategic alliances. He won comps, he was part of key decisions. Devens pivoted and restructured alliances as needed. His social game was on-point. Most of the house really likes Devens even when they were annoyed over the icon advantage.
But I also think there’s a strong chance Devens won not win it because of final HOH part three. Taylor’s been studying a lot more but Devens thinks fast. But to me I see it sixty/forty in Taylor’s favor for part three if they stick to the standard two truths and a lie comp they’ve done since BB20.
Also, it looks like Dee was with the other jurors because they did a funny segment where they put them all through special effects makeup to age them by more than fifty years. The other five jurors were in one video together and they had Dee in a separate video.
But they all went through the same hair and makeup and you could tell they all filmed in the same space—looked like a production office space. Not jury house or a hotel. So, for what it’s worth, I think Dee is with the jurors and Big Brother might have done separate videos because of fan outrage.
Also, the producers of Big Brother have a new show for next year with a working title of 24-Hour Millionaire from Big Brother producer Alison Grodner. It’s a reality show of twenty-four hours straight of physical and social strategies with no breaks or rest for one million dollars.
