Days of Our Lives spoilers for Oct 5-9, 2026 explode with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) confessing to all manner of crimes plus Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) risks an overdose when she drugs up trying to beat that nerve test.
Also, the week of October 5th-9th, there’s Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) demanding answers, Philip Kiriakis taking a big risk, and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) considering where to go from here. Let’s get right into it. And as we always do on early edition day, we’ll go over what’s happening the rest of this week, then get into what’s coming next week. Let’s talk about it!
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Lani & Holly Tell Their Story
Wednesday, September 30th on Days of Our Lives. Lani and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) appear on Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart)’s first podcast episode of Stark Raving Mad. He’s interviewing Holly first. It’s about her attempted mugging and how heroic Lani kicked the muggers’ butt. That same day, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) tells Lani to consider what she wants to do next. If Paulina Price is able to get Lani a pardon, that should clear the path for her job prospects. And we know Lani misses working in law enforcement. Holly’s guilt is eating at her.
Sounds like this might tie back to the whole Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) mess and the things that Mason said about Sophia’s death being her fault. Related to this drama, Tate Donovan Black (Leo Howard) has a run-in with Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler) and likely confronts him about his girlfriend Holly.
Hopefully Tate’s not going to make any accusations about those texts but we’ll see. Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) is upset that her son Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) risked triggering his addiction by gambling again. Not only that, but Leo got Philip to agree. But they’re going to help Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez)in a way that might put Philip at risk again.
DOOL Spoilers: Brady Steps Up for Marlena
Thursday, October first on Days of Our Lives. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) gets support from bonus son Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), who promises that he will not breathe a word about her secret to anyone. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) already told Marlena that he needed to tell Brady, because he’s his Black Patch partner, about the whole Dominic Marino thing. Philip confesses to Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers).
Did Philip do more gambling or is this him proactively telling Maggie that he promised Leo to help follow the money with the GabiChic purses? That could lead Philip to more gambling to gain the trust of the counterfeiters. Steve discusses his latest theory with Belle Black (Martha Madison). Steve has to be careful what he says because he can’t let Belle know about Marlena’s alleged tie to Dominic. Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) holds a press conference about her lawsuit for wrongful death of Destiny.
Her family is suing University Hospital and Dr. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). And of course Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Sarah, and Brady all know that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is behind this but they can’t stop him. Joy takes a big risk. Her dad, Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas), sent her muscle relaxers and Joy was trying to look up the dose to take to trick the nerve test. But she was not getting good search results so she may take too many because she’s desperate to fool Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans). Will Joy suffer side effects?
Days Spoilers: EJ in Bad Shape
Friday, October second on Days of Our Lives. EJ’s frustration grows after Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) quit because as she told Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), Cat is trying to manipulate EJ into chasing after her. Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) listens as EJ opens up to her but he is flying blind. EJ has no idea that Rita’s loyalties have shifted to Dominic now. Also, this week, Marlena corners Rita and says, “You’ve got to tell me the truth about Dominic Marino.” Marlena asks Rita—is he my son? Also, Johnny confesses to Rafe.
But exactly what does Johnny confess to? He told his sister Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh) that he felt like he needed to turn himself in for the stuff going on at DiMera Enterprises. And not long after that conversation, Johnny called Rafe and asked to meet. Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) throws Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) a baby shower, even though she told Mama P she did not want to be showered. Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) hosts at her house. Marlena, Sydney, Lani, and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) are there too. Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) was also invited.
Abe cracks up and then Chanel notices everyone else is too. And when everyone gets the giggles, Chanel asks Lani why they’re all laughing so hard. I expect Paulina grabbed the pot brownies accidentally. That may be why Sydney makes a startling blunder. I wonder if she mentions Johnny wanting to turn EJ in to the cops. Julie has some alone time with Marlena at Chanel’s baby shower and encourages her. But will Marlena tell her the terrible truth about her alleged son, Dominic, that she does not remember? Marlena may just say she’s having a hard time with everything without John Black at her side.
DOOL Spoilers: Rita Keeps Info from Marlena
October 5th-9th on Days of Our Lives. Rita definitely knows more about Dominic Marino than she’s letting on. But I’m sure she will only tell Marlena what Dominic gave her permission to say. Kate and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) may suspect something’s up with Marlena. I’m interested to see if she fills them in. Since Roman and Kate were on the island at the same time? To see if they remember Marlena having a second pregnancy there.
EJ doubles down and pushes back on Xander and keeps targeting Sarah. But Sydney may confront EJ about Johnny. As a lawyer, Sydney did not want to know too much or she’d have to testify. But Sydney loves her big brother Johnny and sees that he’s struggling. We’ll see what Rafe gets out of Johnny and whether he’ll get immunity or risk arrest? Then again, Johnny may decide to blame it all on George so he and EJ both come out unscathed. Philip and Leo dig deeper into the counterfeit bag case soon.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Leo Spends Time with Javi
We’ll see if EJ’s behind that mess too? Or someone else? I would not be surprised if this is another Dominic scheme to hit at EJ. Leo and Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) go out for a second date. Maybe Leo asks Javi to come on the podcast since he is one of Salem‘s heroes as well. Philip’s still waiting on that gambling money to come in since EJ was just prodding Xander that the loan on Titan‘s coming due soon and he should focus on that instead of the patient that EJ says Sarah neglected.
Belle and Chad DiMera (Connor Floyd) may get another clue. Steve’s got a theory and I suspect Dominic keeps playing his game until he sweeps into Salem to stun Marlena and the DiMeras. And I expect Dominic to sweep in during sweeps which kicks off October 29th. Holly gets more suspicious text messages. Sarah needs Justin’s help to fend off Melinda’s accusations in the civil suit. And Steve and Brady work double duty—the Dominic case and how to prove EJ manipulated the medical record.
